VibeFox Econt for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox Econt adds an Econt Express shipping method to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce for delivery to an Econt office or Econtomat (parcel locker) in Bulgaria and Romania. At the shipping step the customer chooses a city and then an office or Econtomat from the current Econt office list. The chosen office is saved with the order.

It suits stores in Bulgaria and Romania that send parcels to Econt offices. You set the delivery prices yourself. The module does not ask Econt for live prices, does not create waybills or labels, does not order couriers, track parcels or handle cash on delivery, and does not deliver to an address. You create the shipment in e-Econt with the saved office code.

Key features

Office selector at checkout: city, then office or Econtomat, under the Econt method in the shipping step of the standard Magento checkout. The shipping step cannot be completed without a valid office for the delivery country.

Current office list: offices and Econtomats are loaded from the public Econt office list, no Econt contract or API key needed. The list is cached for 24 hours, and the last good list is used if Econt cannot be reached. A button loads the lists on demand.

Your choice of points: show offices and Econtomats, offices only or Econtomats only. Large cities can be listed first.

Local or English names: office names in the local language when the store locale is Bulgarian or Romanian, in English otherwise.

Office in the order: the city, office name and address are added to the shipping description of the order, so they appear in the order e-mails, the customer's order page, invoices and the Admin. The Econt block of the admin order shows the Econt office code and lets you change the office.

Fixed prices per country: prices for Bulgaria and Romania in your base currency, per order or per item, shown in the customer's currency. Tax on shipping is applied by your Magento tax settings.

Shipping rules: free shipping from a subtotal, minimum subtotal, minimum and maximum cart weight, and the countries you ship to. Magento cart price rules with free shipping work as usual.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Delivery Methods configuration page, with sections for the office list, the office selector, prices, conditions and availability, settings per website, an encrypted Econt password and a debug log viewer.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), with the Luma or Blank checkout, PHP 8.1 to 8.4. No Econt contract or API key is needed for the office list. An e-Econt login is optional. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
