VibeFox Packeta for Adobe Commerce — Ajuda
Requirements
Magento: Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9, on your own server or hosting, on premises or on Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure. The module does not work with Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service (the SaaS edition), which does not accept PHP modules.
PHP: 8.1 to 8.4, with the cURL, JSON, SimpleXML and mbstring extensions.
Packeta API key: you find it in the Packeta client section (client.packeta.com) under Client support. It has 16 letters and digits. The widget needs it to open at checkout, so the method is shown to customers only after the API key is entered.
Countries: the method is offered for the Packeta pickup-point network: the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. These countries must be allowed in your store.
VibeFox license key: bought on vibefox.net. One key works on one domain.
Installation
The module is one ZIP file. It is a Composer package and can also be copied into app/code. Run the commands in the Magento root folder as the user that owns the Magento files.
1. With Composer: put the ZIP file into a folder that your project uses as a Composer "artifact" repository and run composer require vibefox/module-packeta-shipping. Without Composer: unpack the ZIP file into app/code/Vibefox/PacketaShipping/, so that registration.php is directly in that folder.
2. Run bin/magento module:enable Vibefox_PacketaShipping and bin/magento setup:upgrade. In production mode also run bin/magento setup:di:compile and bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy, then bin/magento cache:flush.
3. In the Admin go to Stores > Configuration > Sales > Delivery Methods and open VibeFox Packeta. Paste your VibeFox license key into License key in the license block, the first row of the group, and click Activate (see License key).
4. Enter your Packeta API key and your prices: at least one Country prices row (for example * All other countries) or a Fallback cost. Set Enable Packeta to Yes and click Save Config. The API key status row shows whether Packeta accepted the key.
The module adds the Packeta shipping method to Magento. Customers see it as Packeta - Pickup point (method title and method name). It is off after installation (Enable Packeta = No). The module also adds the table vfd_pckt_point for the chosen pickup points.
Configuration
All settings are in Stores > Configuration > Sales > Delivery Methods > VibeFox Packeta, in the standard Magento configuration form. Like other Magento settings, they can be changed for a website with the Scope switcher at the top of the page; Method title and Method name also for a store view. Remove data on uninstall is read from the Default Config only. Save Config saves the whole page. Amounts and weights accept "4.99" and "4,99".
A wrong value is not saved, and the other fields are still saved. Magento shows the warning Packeta: invalid …. The previous value was kept. with the name of the setting, and the field keeps its previous value: an empty Method title or Method name, longer than 64 characters or with one of the characters < > ; = # { }; a Sort order that is not a whole number; an amount or weight that is not a number of 0 or more; a Minimum weight (kg) greater than the Maximum weight (kg). If a value in the Country prices table is not a valid number, the whole table is not saved and the warning Packeta: invalid country prices. The previous table was kept. appears.
While Enable Packeta is Yes, warnings after saving remind you of settings that hide the method: Packeta: enter an API key so the customer can choose a pickup point. and Packeta: add country prices or a fallback cost. The warnings are shown only while the method is enabled, because the Delivery Methods page is shared by all shipping methods.
General
Enable Packeta: shows or hides Packeta at checkout. It also needs an API key and a price for the destination. Default: No.
Method title: the carrier name shown in the cart and at checkout. Default: Packeta. Required, at most 64 characters.
Method name: shown after the method title, as "Method title - Method name". Default: Pickup point. Required, at most 64 characters.
Sort order: the position among the shipping methods at checkout. A whole number, negative numbers are allowed.
Packeta widget
API key: your Packeta API key from client.packeta.com > Client support, 16 letters or digits. You may also paste the 32-character API password: only its first 16 characters, which are the API key, are saved. A value in another format is not saved, the previous key is kept and the warning Packeta: the API key must have 16 letters and digits. The previous value was kept. appears. The API key is public: it is sent to the customer's browser to open the widget. Magento stores it encrypted and shows only a mask after saving. Leave the mask as it is to keep the saved key, type a new value to change it. To delete the saved key, clear the field and click Save Config.
API key status: the result of the last key check. When you save the settings with a new key, the key is checked against the Packeta carrier feed (timeout 10 seconds). The row shows Packeta key status: followed by the status (ok, rejected or error), the number of Packeta carriers and the reason, for example an HTTP code. An accepted key is not checked again; after a rejected key or a failed check, the key is checked again the next time you save. Without a key the row shows No API key saved., and before the first check The API key has not been checked. Save the settings to check it. Opening the Admin or the checkout never sends a request to Packeta.
Widget language: the language of the pickup-point widget. Automatic (storefront language) (default) follows the language of the store view. You can also fix it to Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, English, German, Polish or Ukrainian.
Point types: which Packeta points the widget offers.
Rates
Packeta has no public rate API. Prices come from this table and are entered in the base currency of your store, tax excluded. Magento shows the price to the customer in the customer's currency. The module has no tax field: if your store taxes shipping, Magento adds tax with the class in Stores > Configuration > Sales > Tax > Tax Classes > Tax Class for Shipping.
Country prices: a price per destination country and parcel weight. Click Add country to add a row and Delete to remove one. Each row has a Country, a Price and weight columns: XS up to 1 kg, S up to 2 kg, M up to 3 kg, L up to 5 kg and XL over 5 kg. The column for the cart weight is used. A weight column left empty or at 0 uses the Price column. The * All other countries row is used for countries without their own row. An empty price counts as 0, and a row where all prices are empty or 0 gives free delivery, so choose the country and fill in the prices before you save. If the same country is in two rows, only the first one is kept when you save.
Calculation type: Per order (default) charges the price once. Per item multiplies the price for the whole cart weight by the number of physical items in the cart.
Fallback cost: used when no country row and no * All other countries row matches. Leave it empty to hide the method there. 0 gives free delivery.
Free shipping from: the cart subtotal (products that need shipping, after discounts, before tax, in the base currency) from which Packeta delivery is free. It is checked after the availability conditions and before the price table, so from this amount delivery is free in every Packeta country where the method is offered, even one without a country row or fallback cost. Leave it empty to never offer free shipping.
Availability
Minimum weight (kg): hide the method when the cart weighs less. Empty or 0 means no minimum.
Maximum weight (kg): hide the method when the cart weighs more. Default before the first save: 15. Packeta pickup points and Z-BOXes usually accept parcels up to 15 kg; check your Packeta contract. Empty or 0 means no limit.
Minimum subtotal: offer the method only when the cart subtotal (products that need shipping, after discounts, before tax, in the base currency) reaches this amount. Leave it empty for no minimum.
Ship to Applicable Countries: All Allowed Countries offers Packeta for every Packeta network country your store allows, Specific Countries only for the countries below.
Ship to Specific Countries: the destination countries for Specific Countries. The Packeta network is CZ, SK, HU and RO: other countries are never offered, even if you select them.
Product weights are converted to kg from the weight unit of your store (Stores > Configuration > General > General > Locale Options > Weight Unit, lbs or kgs). The price uses the actual cart weight (the sum of product weights). Magento products have no standard dimensions, so volumetric weight is not calculated.
Advanced
Debug log: writes rate calculations and API key checks to var/log/vfd_pckt_debug.log.php in the Magento folder. The file cannot be opened from the web. Errors are always logged, even when this is off. API keys and customer addresses are not logged. Turn the log off when you are done.
Log: shows the size and the latest entries of the log. Click Clear log to empty it.
Remove data on uninstall: when Yes, uninstalling the module with its data deletes the Packeta settings, the log and the pickup points of carts that never became orders (see Uninstall). The license key and the API key status are always removed. The pickup points of orders are never deleted.
How it works at checkout
At the shipping step Magento asks the module for the Packeta price. Only products that need shipping count: virtual and downloadable products add no weight and are not included in the subtotal. The module first checks the conditions: an API key, a shipping country in the Packeta network (and allowed by Ship to Applicable Countries), the cart weight and Minimum subtotal. If the cart subtotal reaches Free shipping from, the delivery is free. Otherwise the price comes from the country table, then from Fallback cost. If there is no price, the method is hidden. A Magento cart price rule with free shipping makes the price 0, and the weight, subtotal and country conditions still apply.
When the customer selects Packeta, a Choose a Packeta pickup point button appears under the shipping methods. It opens a popup window with the official Packeta widget for the shipping country, with the cart weight, the chosen point types and the widget language. After the customer picks a point, the window closes, the point is saved to the cart and its name, address and ID are shown under the button. Closing the window without a choice keeps the previous point. The choice stays after the shipping step refreshes or the page reloads. If the shipping address changes to another country, the customer has to choose a point again.
The pickup point is required. Without one the customer cannot click past Next and sees Please choose a Packeta pickup point. A point in another country than the shipping address is refused with The Packeta point is not in the delivery country. If the customer clicks Next while the point is still being saved, checkout waits for the save. If the point cannot be saved, the customer sees The pickup point could not be saved. Please try again. The server checks the point and its country again when the shipping step is saved and when the order is placed. The module does not verify the point ID with Packeta; it checks that a point was chosen and that its country matches.
The widget runs in the customer's browser. The widget script is loaded from widget.packeta.com, and the module adds Packeta to the Magento content security policy. Nothing is requested from Packeta by your server at checkout. If the widget cannot be loaded (an ad or privacy blocker, a content security policy, a Packeta outage), the customer sees The Packeta widget could not be loaded. Please try again or choose another shipping method.
Packeta prices are not requested live; they come from your table. The module does not create Packeta shipments, print labels or track parcels, and it does not offer home delivery or partner-carrier pickup points out of the box. Hand the pickup point ID from the order to Packeta in your usual way, for example by import in client.packeta.com. The pickup point selector is part of the standard Magento checkout only: other checkouts, checkout with multiple addresses and orders created in the Admin do not show it.
Pickup points
When the order is placed, the pickup point of the cart is saved with the order: its ID, its name with the address and its country. It no longer changes with the cart. The shipping address of the order is not changed.
Shipping description: the point is added to the shipping description of the order, for example Packeta - Pickup point: followed by the point name and address and the reference in brackets, such as (CZ-12345). This text is shown in the order in the customer account, in the order e-mails and on invoices.
Admin order page: on Sales > Orders > View, Information tab, a Packeta pickup point block shows the point name and address and its reference (country and point ID). The point cannot be changed in the Admin.
Customer account and guest orders: the order view in My Orders and the guest order view on the Orders and Returns page show a Packeta pickup point block with the name, address and reference.
The blocks also work for older orders and when the module is switched off.
Cancelled payment: with some payment methods the order is created before the customer pays at the payment provider. If the customer cancels the payment there and Magento restores the cart, the customer can choose a pickup point again and continue checkout. The next order of that cart gets the newly chosen point; the earlier order keeps its own point.
The points are stored in the module table vfd_pckt_point (cart, order, point ID, name and address, country).
License key
The module works with a VibeFox license key from vibefox.net. The license block License — VibeFox Packeta is the first row of the VibeFox Packeta group in Stores > Configuration > Sales > Delivery Methods, above the settings. Paste the key into License key and click Activate. After that the block shows the key masked, the status (for example the date the license is active until and your domain) and the buttons Check now to check the status again, Change key to enter another key and Remove key to remove the key from this store. Below them are the line Product: magento-shipping-packeta and the link Manage licenses and domains in your account, which opens your vibefox.net account. Only Admin users whose role allows the Delivery Methods configuration section can change the key. The texts of the block follow the Admin interface locale (English and Russian are included).
If the key is not accepted, the block says why, for example Key not found, This key belongs to another product, Domain limit reached or License expired on a date. After the store address changes, or after you free a domain slot in your account, click Check now. If the license server cannot be reached, the module keeps working on the last known status.
One key works on one domain: the domain of the default store view, also when the installation has several websites or stores. Removing the key from the store does not free its domain slot. Free the slot in your vibefox.net account.
Without an active key, the Packeta method is not shown to customers at checkout and no rate is calculated. The Magento storefront does not know that you are logged in to the Admin, so the method is hidden for you too: you can set up the module before you buy a key, but not test it at checkout. A reminder appears in the System Messages of the Admin, with the links Enter the license key and Dismiss, which hides it for 7 days. Existing orders are not affected.
When a license expires, the module keeps working, but updates and support need a renewal. The status is checked again automatically: once a day for the first 14 days after the key is entered, then once a week, by the Magento cron and while you work in the Admin. Uninstalling the module with its data always removes the license key and license status.
Troubleshooting
Packeta does not appear at checkout: check that the license is active and Enable Packeta is Yes for the website of the store, the API key is entered and the shipping country is CZ, SK, HU or RO and is allowed by Ship to Applicable Countries and Ship to Specific Countries. Check that a price is set for the country (a country row, the * All other countries row or Fallback cost), the weight limits and Minimum subtotal. Turn on Debug log, reload the checkout and look at the Log field in the Advanced section to see the reason.
Packeta rejected the API key: the API key status row shows rejected. Copy the API key again from client.packeta.com > Client support and click Save Config. Until then the method is not shown at checkout.
The widget does not open: the Packeta script is blocked by an ad or privacy blocker, a content security policy or a Packeta outage. If your store adds its own content security policy rules, allow widget.packeta.com and the Packeta resources the widget loads.
Shipping is free by mistake: check Country prices for rows where the Price and all weight columns are empty or 0, especially a * All other countries row added with Add country and left unfilled, and check Free shipping from and Fallback cost (0 is free).
The table or a field was not saved: a value is not valid. The warning at the top of the page names the setting. Use digits with a comma or a point as the decimal separator.
Other countries or carriers: out of the box the method works for CZ, SK, HU and RO. Developers can add countries with the Magento event vfd_pckt_countries and pass widget options, such as carrier IDs, with vfd_pckt_widget_options.
The settings page or the checkout looks unchanged after installing or updating: run bin/magento setup:upgrade and bin/magento cache:flush; in production mode also setup:di:compile and setup:static-content:deploy.
Uninstall
Deleting the module code alone removes nothing from the database: the license key, the settings and the pickup points stay. To remove the data, uninstall the module with the Magento command:
Installed with Composer: run bin/magento module:uninstall --remove-data Vibefox_PacketaShipping. It removes the data and the code.
Installed in app/code: run bin/magento module:uninstall --non-composer Vibefox_PacketaShipping to remove the data, then bin/magento module:disable Vibefox_PacketaShipping, delete the folder app/code/Vibefox/PacketaShipping and run bin/magento setup:upgrade.
The license key, the license status and the API key status are always removed. If Remove data on uninstall is Yes, the settings, the log and the pickup points of carts without an order are removed too. If it is No, the settings are kept for a re-install. The pickup point table and the points saved in orders are always kept, and the shipping description of the orders does not change.
