Overview
VibeFox PayPlug Gateway adds card payments through the PayPlug hosted payment page to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses PayPlug at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer goes to the secure PayPlug page, pays by card and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. The order is invoiced only after PayPlug confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.
It suits stores that sell in euros and have a PayPlug account. Payments from 0.99 to 20,000.00 EUR are accepted and captured on the PayPlug page. The module has no Oney installments, no saved cards, no embedded payment form, no subscriptions, no capture from Magento and no payments for orders created in the Admin.
Key features
Paid only when PayPlug confirms: PayPlug notifications are not signed, so the module never trusts the notification body. It takes only the payment ID and reads the payment from the PayPlug API with your secret key. The payment must belong to the cart and mode of the order.
No notification setup: the notification URL is sent with every payment. The customer's return is checked with PayPlug as well, so paid orders are confirmed even if the notification cannot reach your store.
Amount and currency check: the paid amount and currency are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.
No double processing: repeated notifications or returns never invoice an order twice. A new attempt reuses the open PayPlug page or closes it, so the customer cannot pay the same cart twice by mistake. A cancelled payment cancels the waiting order and gives the cart back.
Test and live modes: separate secret keys. Every payment keeps its own mode, and a test payment never confirms an order while the store is live.
Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice with Refund, up to the amount PayPlug actually charged. Payments on hold can be refunded from the PayPlug block of the order. Refunds made in the PayPlug portal are noted on the order.
PayPlug block on the order page: every payment attempt with its status, the amount paid and refunded, the refund history, the PayPlug notes and a button to check the payment status again.
Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted keys, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and an optional log without keys, card data or customer data.
