VibeFox iPay88 for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox iPay88 Payment adds iPay88 payments to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce for iPay88 Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand. The customer chooses iPay88 at checkout and clicks Place Order; Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer is sent to the iPay88 payment page of your region to pay by card, FPX online banking, e-wallet or another method your iPay88 account offers. The order is invoiced and the order e-mail is sent only after iPay88 confirms the payment. A failed or cancelled payment cancels the order and restores the cart.

It suits stores in South-East Asia that have an iPay88 merchant account and want the customer to pay on the iPay88 page. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no online refunds from Magento (refund in the iPay88 merchant portal, then a credit memo with Refund Offline), no saved cards, no subscriptions, no pre-authorisation and capture, no card fields on your site, no automatic status re-query and no payments for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

Four iPay88 regions: choose Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia or Thailand. The order is charged in its own currency, and the payment method is hidden when that currency cannot be charged in your region. IDR is sent without decimals.

Paid only when iPay88 confirms: the order is invoiced only after a response signed with your Merchant Key whose amount and currency match the order. A mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.

Both iPay88 answers: the customer's return and the server-to-server backend notification are handled the same way. The backend notification is acknowledged only after it was processed, otherwise iPay88 sends it again.

SHA256 or SHA1 signatures: SHA256 by the current iPay88 specification, SHA1 as a legacy option. Responses are accepted in both formats.

No double processing: repeated or simultaneous answers never invoice an order twice. A payment for a cancelled order or a second payment for a paid cart adds a note and never re-opens the order.

Pending and failed payments: a pending payment (for example an ATM or virtual account transfer) keeps the order in Pending Payment until iPay88 confirms it. After a failed payment the customer sees the reason in the restored cart and can pay again.

Test mode and reference prefix: a fixed small test amount instead of the order total, and an optional reference prefix for several stores on one iPay88 account.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with the encrypted Merchant Key, the Response and Backend URLs shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, the iPay88 payment details and payment history on the order page and an optional log without the Merchant Key, signatures or personal data.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. An iPay88 merchant account with a Merchant Code and Merchant Key, and your website address registered with iPay88 as the request URL. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
