VibeFox Redsys for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox Redsys Gateway adds the Redsys virtual POS (Servired / Sermepa) that most Spanish banks give to their merchants to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses Redsys at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer is sent to the secure Redsys payment page of your bank and pays there by card with 3-D Secure, or by Bizum or another method your bank has enabled for the terminal. Card data never touches your site. The order is invoiced only after Redsys confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.

It suits stores in Spain that already have a Redsys merchant account from their bank. The module takes one-time payments that are authorised and captured at once. It has no card form on your own site (InSite), no saved cards or one-click payments, no subscriptions, no pre-authorisation with later capture and no payments for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

Redsys payment page: a signed payment form sends the customer to the Redsys page of your bank for the order total, in the language of the store view. The notification and return URLs are sent with every payment, so nothing has to be copied into the Redsys panel.

Paid only when Redsys confirms: the invoice is created only by the online notification of Redsys, after its HMAC-SHA256 signature and your merchant code are checked. Returning to the store never pays an order by itself.

Amount and currency check: the amount and currency in the notification are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.

No double processing: repeated notifications change nothing and a cart that is already paid is not paid again. A second payment, a late payment for a cancelled order or a test payment while the store is live is held or noted, never applied silently. A refused or cancelled payment cancels the waiting order and gives the cart back.

Test and live modes: separate secret keys for the Redsys test environment (SIS-T) and the real one. Each payment remembers its environment, also for refunds.

Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds from the invoice through the Redsys REST API, with the response signature checked. A refund whose result is not certain is never sent twice.

Order status of your choice: Processing, Complete for virtual orders, or On Hold for manual review after a successful payment.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted secret keys, the notification URL shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and an optional log without keys, signatures or customer addresses. The admin order page shows the Redsys order number, authorisation code, environment, payment attempts and refunds.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. A Redsys merchant account from your bank: merchant code (FUC), terminal number and the SHA-256 secret keys of the test and live environments, with the online notification (HTTP) active for the terminal. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
