VibeFox Mondial Relay for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox Mondial Relay adds a Mondial Relay Point Relais shipping method to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. At the shipping step of checkout the customer chooses a Point Relais (pickup point or locker) on the official Mondial Relay map or in a list of the nearest points. The point is required to continue, is saved with the order and is shown to the store and to the customer.

It suits stores that ship to France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal and the Netherlands with a Mondial Relay business account. Mondial Relay has no public rate API, so prices come from your own table by country and weight. The module does not create shipments, print labels or track parcels, and it does not offer home delivery.

Key features

Official Mondial Relay map: the Mondial Relay Parcel Shop Picker map opens in a window of the standard Magento checkout (Luma and Blank themes). It needs only your brand code (Enseigne).

List of nearest points: a drop-down of the 10 nearest points for the delivery postcode with distance and opening hours, loaded by your server from the Mondial Relay Web Service with your Private Key. If the list is unavailable or empty, the map is offered instead.

Point required and checked: the customer cannot click past Next without a point or with a point in another country than the delivery address. The server checks the point again when the shipping step is saved and when the order is placed. A cart restored after a cancelled payment can choose a point again, and the earlier order keeps its own.

Point in the order: the point name, address and Point Relais number are added to the shipping description, so they appear in the customer account, in the order e-mails and on invoices. A block on the admin order page shows the point and whether it was verified against the point list.

Your own prices: a table per destination country (or * for all others) with a base price and optional prices by weight from XS up to 1 kg to XL over 5 kg. Per order or per item, fallback cost, decimals with a dot or a comma.

Shipping rules: free shipping from a subtotal, minimum subtotal, minimum and maximum weight in kg (converted from your store weight unit; Mondial Relay: 30 kg) and the countries you ship to. Magento cart price rules with free shipping work as usual. Tax on shipping uses your Magento tax settings, when your store taxes shipping.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Delivery Methods configuration page, with sections for the account, rates and availability, settings per website, an encrypted Private Key, a Web Service test on save and a debug log viewer without keys or customer addresses.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. A Mondial Relay business account with a brand code (Enseigne). The list of nearest points also needs the Private Key. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
