VibeFox Andreani for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox Andreani adds Andreani delivery in Argentina to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. Customers get the parcel at their address or pick it up at an Andreani branch they choose in the shipping step of checkout. The price is a fixed price per country or a live rate from the Andreani API.

It suits Argentine stores that ship with Andreani, with or without API access. The module calculates shipping rates and saves the chosen branch with the order. It does not create Andreani shipments, print labels or track parcels.

Key features

Four delivery modalities: door to door, branch to door, door to branch and branch to branch. A second Andreani option with its own name, modality and contract lets you offer home delivery and branch pickup side by side, for example Andreani - Home delivery and Andreani - Branch pickup.

Branch selector: the customer chooses a province and an Andreani branch under the shipping methods. The province is pre-selected from the delivery address, and the shipping step cannot continue without a branch. Works with the standard Luma and Blank checkout.

Branch in the order: the branch is added to the shipping description of the order, so it appears in order e-mails, in the customer's account and on invoices. On the admin order page an Andreani block shows the modality and the branch and lets you change it.

Three pricing modes: fixed prices per country, live rates from the Andreani quote API, or live rates that fall back to fixed prices when the API fails.

Correct rates: product weights are converted from your store weight unit, products without a weight use a default weight, ARS quotes are converted to your base currency, and IVA is not charged twice when your store taxes shipping.

Fast checkout: the token, branch list and quotes are cached, and a failed API call is not repeated for 5 minutes, so an Andreani outage does not slow down the checkout.

Shipping rules: minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum subtotal, free shipping threshold, per-order or per-item price, and the countries you ship to. Magento cart price rules with free shipping work as usual.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Delivery Methods configuration page, with sections for the API, rates, availability, free shipping, the second option and the branch selector, settings per website, an encrypted API password and a debug log viewer.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. Live rates need an Andreani business account with API access. Fixed prices and the branch selector work without one. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
