VibeFox Mollie for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox Mollie Gateway adds payments through the Mollie hosted checkout to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses Mollie at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer goes to the Mollie payment page, pays with one of the methods enabled in your Mollie account (iDEAL, cards, Bancontact, bank transfer and others) and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. The order is invoiced only after Mollie confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.

It suits stores that want all their Mollie payment methods behind one payment option without building forms on their own site. The method is chosen on the Mollie page, not in your checkout. The module has no subscriptions or recurring payments, no saved cards or mandates, no card fields on your site, no Apple Pay or PayPal express buttons, no order lines for Klarna-type methods, no capture or void of authorized payments from Magento and no payments for orders created in the Admin.

Mollie hosted checkout: one payment method for the order total in the order currency, 28 currencies, JPY and ISK without decimals.

Paid only when Mollie confirms: every webhook and every customer return is checked by reading the payment from the Mollie API with your own key. The paid amount and currency must match the order; a mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.

Nothing to set up in Mollie: the webhook URL is sent with every payment and is shown on the settings page.

No double processing: repeated webhooks and returns never invoice an order twice. A new attempt reuses the still-open Mollie payment or cancels it at Mollie first. A cancelled, failed or expired payment cancels the waiting order and gives the cart back. A second payment of the same cart adds a note asking you to refund it.

Bank transfer, authorizations, chargebacks: bank transfer orders wait in Pending Payment until Mollie receives the money, authorized payments wait On Hold until you capture them in the Mollie Dashboard, chargebacks add a note and put the order on hold.

Test and live modes: separate API keys. Every payment remembers its mode, so status checks and refunds of older payments keep working after you switch. A test payment never completes an order while the store is live.

Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice with Refund, in the amount Mollie actually charged. Charges held without an invoice can be refunded from the order page.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted keys, the webhook URL shown on the page, order status Processing or Complete, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and an optional log without keys or customer data.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4 with the cURL extension. A Mollie account with test and live API keys and an order currency supported by Mollie. The store must be reachable from the internet for webhooks. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
