Overview
VibeFox Xendit Payment Gateway adds Xendit payments to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce for stores in Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. The customer chooses Xendit at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer goes to the Xendit hosted invoice page, pays with any payment channel activated in your Xendit account for the order currency (virtual accounts, e-wallets, QR codes, retail outlets or cards) and comes back to your store. The order is invoiced only after Xendit confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.
It suits stores that want local payment methods of Southeast Asia from one Xendit account, without building payment forms on their own site. Refunds are made in the Xendit Dashboard and recorded in Magento with an offline credit memo. The module has no online refunds, saved cards, subscriptions, payment fields on the checkout page, separate authorize and capture, xenPlatform sub-accounts or payments for orders created in the Admin.
Key features
Hosted Xendit invoice: one invoice per payment attempt for the order total in the order currency. IDR and VND are sent as whole numbers, other currencies with two decimals.
Paid only when Xendit confirms: webhooks are checked with the verification token of the mode, and the invoice status, amount and currency are always read back from the Xendit API before Magento creates the invoice. The customer's return also checks the invoice, so a missing webhook does not lose paid orders.
Amount and currency check: a paid invoice that does not match the order total or currency puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.
No double processing: repeated webhooks, a webhook together with the customer's return, or a second paid invoice never invoice an order twice. A new attempt reuses the open invoice or expires it first, so there are never two open invoices for one cart. A cancelled or failed payment cancels the waiting order and gives the cart back.
Test and live modes: separate secret keys and webhook verification tokens. A key with the wrong prefix is not saved, and a test notification never confirms a live payment.
Seven currencies: IDR, PHP, VND, THB, MYR, USD and SGD. The payment method is shown only for these order currencies.
Xendit attempts on the order: the Admin order page lists every Xendit invoice of the cart with mode, amount, paid amount, status and payment channel. Payment notes are order comments that the customer does not see.
Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted keys and tokens, the webhook URL shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and a log without keys, tokens or customer e-mails.
