Overview
VibeFox Cardcom Payment Gateway adds credit card payments through Cardcom (Israel) to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses the card payment at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer is sent to the secure Cardcom payment page (Low Profile), enters the card details there and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. The order is invoiced only after Cardcom confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.
It suits Israeli stores that sell in ILS, USD, EUR or GBP and want card payments with installments from a Cardcom terminal. The module takes one-time card payments only. It has no saved cards or one-click payments, subscriptions, charging of stored card tokens, Cardcom invoice settings, Bit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, iframe mode, capture-later deals or payments for orders created in the Admin.
Key features
Cardcom payment page: a payment page is created for the order total in the order currency. The page opens in Hebrew when the locale of the store view is Hebrew, otherwise in English. The notification URL is sent with every payment, so nothing has to be configured in Cardcom.
Paid only when Cardcom confirms: the module does not trust the payment notification itself. It asks Cardcom server-to-server for the result, both when the notification arrives and when the customer returns to the store. The invoice carries the Cardcom deal number as the transaction ID.
Amount and currency check: the amount and currency confirmed by Cardcom are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.
No double processing: repeated notifications and returns never invoice an order twice, and earlier payment pages of the same cart are checked before a new one is opened. A second payment or a payment after the order was cancelled is recorded for review and refund. A declined or cancelled payment cancels the waiting order and gives the cart back.
Installments and test mode: set the maximum number of payments the customer may choose on the Cardcom page, from 1 to 36. Test mode uses the public Cardcom test terminal, so you can try the whole flow before you get your own terminal.
Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice with Refund, always with the Cardcom account and mode the order was paid in. Payments held for review can be refunded from the order page without a credit memo.
Cardcom payment history on the order: the payment page code, the Cardcom transaction, card last four digits, installments, Cardcom invoice number, amount captured and every refund, with a reconciliation form for refunds whose result was uncertain.
Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted API credentials, the notification URL shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and an optional log without credentials or card tokens.
Requirements
Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. A Cardcom merchant account with a terminal number and API username (the API password is needed only for refunds). A store reachable from the internet, so that Cardcom can send the payment notification. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
