VibeFox Niubiz for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox Niubiz Payment adds card payments in Peru through the official Niubiz payment form (Botón de pago web) to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses Niubiz at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and on the next page of your store the customer opens the Niubiz form and enters the card there. Card data never touches your site. Your server then authorizes the payment with Niubiz, and the order is invoiced and the order e-mail is sent only after Niubiz approves a payment that matches the order.

It suits stores in Peru that sell in Peruvian soles (PEN) or US dollars (USD) and have a Niubiz merchant affiliation. The module takes one-time card payments only, charged at once. It has no refunds or cancellations from Magento, no saved cards, subscriptions or installments (cuotas), no PagoEfectivo, Yape or QR payments and no webhooks, and it is not offered for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

Niubiz payment form: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club, whatever your Niubiz affiliation accepts. The form shows your store name or your own logo.

Paid only when Niubiz approves: the payment is authorized by your server, and the purchase number, amount and currency in the answer of Niubiz are compared with the order. A match creates the invoice with the Niubiz transaction ID; a mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.

Safe with lost answers: a timeout or an unreadable answer from Niubiz puts the order On Hold with the purchase number to check in the Niubiz console. The module never authorizes it again.

Declined cards: the order is cancelled, the stock goes back and the cart is restored, so the customer can pay again with another card. Every attempt gets a new purchase number.

No double processing: repeated or parallel form submissions never authorize twice. A cart that already has a paid or held Niubiz payment is not charged again, and if the order total changes after the form was opened, the card is not charged.

Test and live modes: separate merchant ID, user and password for each mode. Test Mode switches both the Niubiz servers and the credentials, and a running payment always stays in the mode it was started in.

Niubiz details on the order: purchase number, environment, transaction ID, authorization code, card brand, masked card and authorized amount in the payment information of the order.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted passwords, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and an optional log without credentials, tokens or card data.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. Order currency PEN or USD. Niubiz test and live credentials (merchant ID, API user, API password). No webhook is needed. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
