VibeFox Nets Nexi for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox Nets Nexi Gateway adds Nets Easy (Nexi Checkout) payments to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses Nets at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer goes to the Nets hosted payment page and pays by card or with a Nordic payment method enabled in your Nets account, for example MobilePay, Vipps or Swish, depending on your Nets contract, country and currency. Card data never touches your site. The order is invoiced only after the payment has been read back from Nets and charged, and the order e-mail is sent only then.

It suits Nordic stores that want one Nets account for cards and local wallets. The module takes one-time payments and charges them automatically once verified. It has no embedded on-page Nets checkout, subscriptions or recurring payments, saved cards, invoice fees, authorize-only mode, partial captures per shipment, or payments for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

Nets hosted payment page: the payment is created for the order total in the order currency, with the products, shipping and discounts as order lines and amounts in the smallest currency unit, including zero-decimal and three-decimal currencies.

Paid only when Nets confirms: the payment is always read from the Nets API with your secret key. Webhooks, the customer's return and the status check on the order page confirm it the same way, and only then is the invoice created with the Nets charge ID.

Automatic capture with checks: a reservation that matches the order amount and currency is charged automatically. A mismatch or a failed or uncertain capture puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.

No setup in Nets: webhooks are registered automatically with every payment and protected by a random per-payment secret.

No double processing: repeated webhooks, reloads and parallel requests never charge or invoice twice. A new payment attempt closes the previous Nets session, a cancelled payment cancels the waiting order and gives the cart back, and a second reservation for a paid order is released automatically.

Test and live modes: separate secret keys and API hosts. Captures and refunds always use the environment the payment was made in.

Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice with Refund. The order page shows the Nets payment history and a button to check the payment status and capture.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted keys, the webhook address shown on the page, Processing or Complete after payment, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and an optional log with keys masked.

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4 with the cURL extension. A Nets Easy account with secret API keys. HTTPS for webhooks. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
