VibeFox Melhor Envio for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox Melhor Envio adds a Melhor Envio shipping method to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. At checkout it asks the Melhor Envio API for a live quote for the cart and the customer's CEP, with prices from the carriers of your Melhor Envio account, such as Correios, Jadlog, Azul Cargo, LATAM Cargo and J&T. A fallback price table keeps the checkout working when there is no quote.

It suits Brazilian stores that use Melhor Envio to compare and send parcels. The module calculates shipping prices at checkout. It does not buy or generate labels, add shipments to the Melhor Envio cart, track parcels, schedule pickups, send invoice (NF-e) data or let customers choose a carrier agency.

Key features

Live multi-carrier quotes: every service of your Melhor Envio account, or only the service IDs you list (for example 1 = Correios PAC, 2 = Correios SEDEX).

Cheapest service or customer's choice: one shipping option with the cheapest service, or one standard Magento shipping option per service, such as "Correios PAC" and "Correios SEDEX", optionally with the delivery estimate in business days.

Accurate parcels: product weights are converted to kg from the weight unit of your store and sent with the quantity of every item and, optionally, the declared value (insurance). Products without a weight use your default weight. Magento products have no standard dimensions, so every product is sent with your default size. Virtual and downloadable products are skipped.

Safe currency handling: Melhor Envio quotes in Brazilian reais. Stores with another base currency set a BRL exchange rate; without it, live quotes are not used. Magento shows the price in the customer's currency.

Fallback prices: a price table by country and cart weight (XS to XL) and a fallback cost, per order or per item, used when there is no token, no valid CEP, or the API fails or has no coverage. Without any price the method is hidden.

Fast checkout: quotes are cached for 1 hour and failed calls for 5 minutes. API errors never reach the customer. Saving the settings clears the cache.

Service on the order: the chosen service, its ID, the delivery estimate and the quoted price in BRL are saved with the order and shown in a Melhor Envio shipping block on the admin order page. The customer sees the service and the delivery estimate on the order page in their account or on the Orders and Returns page.

Shipping rules: minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum subtotal, free shipping from a subtotal (the cheapest service becomes free) and the countries you ship to. Magento cart price rules with free shipping work as usual.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Delivery Methods configuration page, with sections for the API, fallback prices, availability and advanced options, settings per website, an encrypted access token and a debug log viewer.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. Live quotes need a Melhor Envio account and an access token with the "shipping-calculate" permission. Fallback prices work without one. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
