VibeFox KOMOJU for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox KOMOJU Payment adds KOMOJU payments to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses KOMOJU at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer goes to the KOMOJU hosted payment page and chooses a method there: credit or debit card, convenience store payment (konbini), PayPay, bank transfer and other local methods, depending on your KOMOJU account and the order currency. Card data never touches your site. The order is invoiced only after KOMOJU confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.

It suits stores in Japan, Asia and Europe that want local payment methods with a KOMOJU merchant account. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no card form on your site, saved cards, subscriptions, manual capture action in Magento or payments for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

KOMOJU hosted page: a payment session is created for the order total in the order currency. JPY, KRW and VND are sent without decimals. The method is offered only for the 20 currencies KOMOJU supports.

Paid only when KOMOJU confirms: the invoice with the KOMOJU payment ID is created after a webhook signed with your webhook secret or after the payment session is read from the KOMOJU API when the customer returns. The return alone never pays an order.

Amount and currency check: a mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice. Payments that KOMOJU converted into another currency are verified through the payment session.

Konbini and bank transfer: while the payment slip is open the order is Processing without an invoice, with the payment deadline in a note, so the Magento cron does not cancel it; it is invoiced when the customer pays. An expired, cancelled or failed payment cancels the order.

No double processing: repeated or simultaneous webhooks and returns invoice an order once. A new attempt for the same order reuses the open KOMOJU session, and a cancelled payment cancels the waiting order and gives the cart back.

Test and live modes: separate secret keys and webhook secrets. Every payment remembers its mode, so refunds and status checks use the right key after you switch.

Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice with Refund, up to the amount KOMOJU charged. Refunds made in the KOMOJU dashboard are recorded as offline credit memos automatically.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted keys, the webhook URL and events shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and an optional log without keys or customer data.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. A KOMOJU merchant account with a secret key and a webhook secret. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
