Overview
VibeFox Pagar.me Gateway connects Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce to the Pagar.me (Stone) Core API v5 for stores in Brazil. The customer chooses Pagar.me at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer goes to the Pagar.me payment page and pays by credit card, PIX, boleto or debit card. Card data never touches your site. Payments are in Brazilian Real (BRL) only. The order is invoiced only after Pagar.me confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.
It suits Brazilian stores that want the main local payment methods on one hosted page, with online refunds through the standard Magento credit memo. The module has no card form inside your checkout, no saved cards, subscriptions or recurring payments, no installment rules, no split payments, no authorize-only card payments, no Pagar.me Hub integration and no payments for orders created in the Admin.
Key features
Pagar.me payment page: credit card, PIX, boleto and debit card. You choose which methods are offered and how many days a boleto is valid (1 to 30). Cards are captured at once.
Paid only when Pagar.me confirms: the webhook and the customer's return only tell the store which Pagar.me order to check. The order is then read from the Pagar.me API with your secret key, and only then is the invoice created.
Amount and currency check: the paid charges are compared with the order total. A difference, an underpaid boleto or a chargeback puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice. A reviewed payment can be accepted with one button after a new check.
PIX and boleto: an issued PIX or boleto keeps the order in Pending Payment with a note until Pagar.me confirms the payment by webhook, by the customer's return or by Sync Pagar.me payment on the order page.
Safe retries: when the customer pays the same cart again, the open payment page is reused or closed at Pagar.me first. A cart that already has a paid or waiting payment is not charged twice, and a second payment is flagged for a refund.
Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds of card and PIX payments through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice with Refund, up to the amount Pagar.me actually took. Refunds and chargebacks made at Pagar.me are noted on the order.
Test and live: separate test and live secret keys. Status checks and refunds always use the key of the mode the payment was created in.
Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted keys, the webhook URL and events shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, a Pagar.me payment history on the order page and an optional log without keys or customer data.
Requirements
Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. Store currency Brazilian Real (BRL) at checkout. A Pagar.me account with the test and live secret keys and a webhook. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
