Overview
VibeFox Midtrans Payment Gateway adds Midtrans Snap payments in Indonesian Rupiah to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. At the payment step the customer chooses Midtrans and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer is sent to the Midtrans Snap payment page to pay with any method enabled in your Midtrans account: GoPay, QRIS, ShopeePay, cards, bank virtual accounts, convenience stores and more. The invoice and the order e-mail are created only after Midtrans confirms the payment.
It suits Indonesian stores that sell in IDR and want all Midtrans methods behind one payment method. The module works with IDR only and has no currency conversion. It has no Snap pop-up, no card form on your site, no saved cards, no installment or promo settings, no subscriptions and no separate authorize and capture.
Key features
Snap Redirect: one Midtrans payment page with every method of your Midtrans account, for the order total in whole rupiah with the order lines, shipping, discounts and tax.
Paid only when Midtrans confirms: the signature of each payment notification is checked, the status is read again from the Midtrans status API, and the paid amount and currency are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order On Hold without an invoice, with a note.
Delayed payments: virtual account and convenience store payments keep the order in Pending Payment. It is invoiced when Midtrans reports the payment, or cancelled when the payment expires. The customer can continue an unfinished payment from the order success page.
Safe retries: an unused or pending Snap of the same amount is reused. Repeated notifications and returns never create a second invoice. A second payment for a paid cart is reported in a note.
Sandbox and Production: separate Server Keys. Each payment remembers its environment, so refunds and notifications of sandbox payments keep working after you go live.
Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds from the invoice, sent to Midtrans in whole rupiah. Refunds made in the Midtrans dashboard are recorded as offline credit memos automatically. Charges without an invoice can be refunded from the order page.
Order status of your choice: Processing, Complete or On Hold after a confirmed payment. An order ID prefix lets several stores share one Midtrans account.
Standard Magento settings: the Payment Methods page with settings per website and store view, encrypted Server Keys, the notification URL and warnings on the page, a payment history on the order page and a debug log without keys.
Requirements
Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. The IDR currency in your store. A Midtrans account with a Sandbox and a Production Server Key and the payment notification URL set in the Midtrans dashboard. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
