Overview

VibeFox Iugu Gateway adds Iugu payments to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce for stores in Brazil. The customer chooses Iugu at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, the module creates an Iugu invoice for the order total and sends the customer to the Iugu invoice page, where the invoice is paid by credit card, boleto bancário or PIX. Card data never touches your site. The order is invoiced only after Iugu confirms the payment.

It suits Brazilian stores that sell in Brazilian Real (BRL) with an Iugu account. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no on-site card form, saved cards, subscriptions or recurring billing, payment booklets (carnê), split payments or installment settings in Magento, and it is not offered for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

Iugu invoice page: an invoice is created for the order total in BRL. The customer pays with any method enabled in your Iugu account: credit card, boleto or PIX.

Paid only when Iugu confirms: the notification and the customer's return only tell the store which invoice to check. The invoice is always read back from the Iugu API, and its status, amount and currency are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order On Hold without an invoice.

Nothing to set up in Iugu: every invoice carries the notification URL of your store.

No double processing: each invoice status is applied once, so repeated notifications and returns never invoice an order twice. A new payment attempt cancels the previous open invoice of the cart in Iugu, and a duplicate payment is noted for refund.

Boleto and PIX friendly: a customer who comes back with a boleto or PIX code issued sees that the invoice is awaiting payment. The order is invoiced when Iugu reports the money.

Test and live tokens: separate API tokens for each mode. Status checks and refunds always use the token of the mode the invoice was created in.

Online refunds with Credit Memo: credit card full or partial, PIX full only, through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice. A full refund made in the Iugu dashboard closes the order with an offline credit memo.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted tokens, the notification URL shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, an Iugu payment history on the order page and an optional log without tokens or customer data.
