VibeFox GLS ParcelShop for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox GLS ParcelShop adds delivery to a GLS ParcelShop to WooCommerce as a regular shipping method. When the customer selects it at checkout, a Select GLS ParcelShop button opens the official public GLS ParcelShop map. The chosen ParcelShop is required to place the order and is saved with the order.

It suits shops that ship to GLS ParcelShops in 21 European countries. No GLS account or API key is needed for the plugin. Prices come from your own table by country and weight, because GLS has no public rate API. The plugin does not create GLS shipments, print labels or track parcels.

Key features

Official GLS map: the customer picks a ParcelShop on the GLS map in the classic checkout and in the Checkout block. The choice is remembered when the checkout refreshes or the page reloads.

ParcelShop is required: the order cannot be placed without a ParcelShop. A ParcelShop from another country than the shipping address is refused. Both checks run on the server.

21 countries: offered only for the countries covered by the GLS map: AT, BE, BG, CZ, DE, DK, ES, FI, FR, GR, HR, HU, IT, LU, NL, PL, PT, RO, RS, SI, SK.

Price table by weight: a price per country and weight tier (XS up to 1 kg, S 1-2 kg, M 2-3 kg, L 3-5 kg, XL over 5 kg), a * Default row for all other countries and a fallback cost. Per order or per item.

Shipping rules: free shipping from a cart subtotal, minimum cart subtotal, minimum and maximum weight in kg (converted from your store unit), excluded shipping classes, tax status.

ParcelShop in the order: shown on the admin order screen with the ParcelShop ID, on the thank-you and order view pages and in order e-mails (HTML and plain text).

Flexible availability: works with WooCommerce shipping zones, with a zone title of its own, or without zones, using a list of countries.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Cart and Checkout blocks, HPOS. Prices accept a decimal comma or point. Optional debug log without customer personal data.

Requirements

WordPress 5.8 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. No GLS account or API key is needed for the map. You need a GLS contract to ship the parcels. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
