VibeFox Netopia for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox Netopia Gateway adds card payments through Netopia Payments (formerly mobilPay) to WooCommerce. After placing the order, the customer is sent to the Netopia secure payment page, pays by card and comes back to your store. The payment request is encrypted with your Netopia certificate, and Netopia confirms the payment with an encrypted notification (IPN). Card data never touches your site.

It suits stores in Romania and abroad that sell in RON, EUR, USD or GBP with a Netopia seller account. The plugin uses the certificate-based Netopia v1 card protocol. It has no refunds or capture from WooCommerce (both are done in the Netopia admin), no saved cards, subscriptions, installments, SMS, bank transfer or crypto payments, and no Netopia API v2.

Key features

Netopia secure page: the order is sent encrypted to the Netopia payment page in the order currency: RON, or EUR, USD and GBP when they are enabled on your Netopia account.

Paid only when Netopia confirms: an order is marked paid only by an IPN that your private key can decrypt, that carries your account signature and answers a payment request made for that order.

Amount and currency check: the invoice amount and currency confirmed by Netopia are compared with the order. Mismatches and partial captures put the order on hold with a note.

No double processing: a repeated IPN is acknowledged without changes. Late notifications never downgrade a paid order, a payment for a cancelled order puts it on hold, and a second payment is reported in a note.

Refunds recorded automatically: refunds made in the Netopia admin arrive by IPN and are recorded as WooCommerce refunds, partial or full, never twice.

Sandbox and live modes: each with its own certificate and private key. Private keys are write-only in the settings and are checked on save.

Order status of your choice: Processing or Completed after payment, with one status change and one customer e-mail.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, the Pay for order page, HPOS. Optional log without keys, card data or customer details. Romanian translation included.

Requirements

WordPress 6.0 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later with the OpenSSL and DOM extensions. A Netopia seller account with the account signature, public certificate and private key of your point of sale. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
