Overview
VibeFox Barion Gateway adds payments through Barion, the Hungarian payment provider, to WooCommerce. At checkout the customer is sent to the secure Barion payment page (Barion Smart Gateway) and pays by card, Barion Wallet, Apple Pay or Google Pay, whatever your Barion shop offers. Card data never touches your site.
It suits stores in Hungary and the region that sell in HUF, EUR, USD or CZK and have a Barion shop. The plugin takes immediate payments only. It has no reservation or delayed capture payments, no WooCommerce Subscriptions or recurring payments, no saved cards and no Barion Pixel.
Key features
Barion payment page: a Barion payment is started for the order total, with the order items, shipping, fees and tax listed. HUF amounts are sent without decimals.
Paid only when Barion confirms: Barion callbacks are not signed, so the plugin never trusts the callback or the return itself. The payment state is always checked with Barion using your POSKey before the order changes.
Amount and currency check: the amount and currency reported by Barion are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order on hold for manual review.
No double processing: repeated callbacks and the customer's return, even at the same moment, complete the order, reduce stock and send e-mails only once. A second successful payment for a paid order is flagged with a note.
Safe retries: every started payment is remembered. A late payment of an earlier attempt still completes the order, and an expired earlier attempt does not cancel it.
Refunds: full and partial refunds from the WooCommerce order screen. Refunds go to the mode (test or live) the order was paid in.
Test and live modes: separate POSKey and wallet e-mail for each mode. Order status after payment: WooCommerce default or Completed.
Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, HPOS. Optional log without the POSKey. Hungarian translation included.
Requirements
WordPress 6.0 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. A Barion shop with its POSKey and the e-mail address of your Barion wallet. Store currency HUF, EUR, USD or CZK. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
