VibeFox UT Bot is a real-time trend-following overlay for MetaTrader 5. It draws an adaptive ATR trailing stop directly on the price chart, switches its color the instant the position side flips, places BUY and SELL arrows the moment price crosses the stop, and gathers every control into one modern interactive panel. Instead of redrawing stop levels by hand and watching for the turn, you see the trailing stop, the active side and the entry point exactly as they form.
What it calculates
The core of UT Bot is a single adaptive line — the ATR trailing stop. Its distance from price is not fixed: it breathes with volatility. The indicator measures the Average True Range over a chosen period, multiplies it by a sensitivity factor, and keeps the resulting band trailing behind the move. When the market is quiet the stop hugs price closely; when volatility expands the stop steps back to give the trend room to run.
Because the band is built on ATR rather than on a fixed number of points or a percentage, the same settings adapt to a calm range and to a fast trending session without retuning. The line is recomputed bar by bar from the chart history, so what you see is a clean, repeatable trail rather than a hand-drawn guess.
How it works
On every bar the indicator takes the source price — by default the bar close — and compares it with the previous value of the trailing stop. While price stays above the stop, the line ratchets up and never loosens; the position is read as long and the line is painted with the Up color. While price stays below the stop, the line ratchets down and the position is read as short, painted with the Down color. The carry rule keeps the stop from jumping around inside the trend, so it only moves in the favorable direction until price finally breaks through it.
An optional Heikin Ashi mode swaps the raw close for the smoothed Heikin Ashi close as the source. This filters out part of the bar-to-bar noise and produces a calmer trail with fewer flips, at the cost of a small lag — useful on choppy symbols where the plain close whipsaws.
Entry points
The practical value of UT Bot is its automatic entry points: the indicator watches the relationship between price and the trailing stop itself and places a clear arrow marker on the chart at the exact bar where the side changes.
Entry — Stop Cross
The signal fires when the source price crosses the trailing stop. When price closes back above the stop after having been below it, the side turns long and a BUY arrow is placed on the stop line; when price drops below the stop after having been above it, the side turns short and a SELL arrow is placed. Each cross marks the precise moment the trend assumption flips from one side to the other, so the markers line up one-to-one with the color changes of the trail. Markers are drawn only on closed bars, so a signal does not repaint once the bar that produced it has finished.
BUY and SELL markers are colored separately with the Buy and Sell colors, so direction reads instantly, while the Size control scales the arrows from 1 to 5 to fit any chart density.
Full visual control
The trailing stop is tuned to your taste. The Up and Down colors are set independently, and each has its own transparency, so you can let the line sit softly behind price or make it a bold, dominant trail. The Width control sets the thickness of the stop line in pixels from 1 to 10, and the Style control switches it between Solid, Dash, Dot and other line styles, so the picture stays readable on a dense intraday chart and on a sparse higher timeframe alike. A separate Arrows switch toggles the buy/sell arrows drawn on the stop line itself, independently of the history markers.
Interactive on-chart panel
The whole interface is a smooth canvas-based panel built for fast mouse control. All parameters are gathered into tidy rows in three columns, and the entry block is set apart with its own gold ENTRY heading, so signal settings do not get mixed up with line settings. The panel header holds the control icons.
Power — turns the drawing of the trailing stop and the signals on and off without removing the indicator from the chart.
Settings (gear) — opens and closes the settings section.
Updown (arrows) — moves the panel between a separate subwindow and the main chart.
Close (cross) — closes the indicator.
Resizable — drag the bottom-right corner to scale the panel.
Collapsible — a double click on the header collapses the panel into a compact strip.
Mouse wheel — hover over any numeric field and scroll the wheel to change the value without opening the keyboard.
Settings and personalization
The Settings button opens a section where the panel is fitted to your workspace: a light, dark or automatic Theme, an adjustable panel width, header size, row height and font size. Extra touches let you hide the bottom bar with Hide Footer, shrink the header when collapsed with Mini Header, and automatically collapse the panel on a click outside it. Almost every parameter changes live right on the panel — the input fields on the Inputs tab only set the starting values. You can also run several independent copies on one chart by giving each a unique Instance, to watch different ATR periods and sensitivities side by side.
Entry notifications
You do not need to sit and watch the chart waiting for a cross. Each signal can be sent through several notification channels that are enabled independently right on the panel.
Alert — a pop-up message inside the terminal.
Push — a mobile notification to the MetaTrader app on your phone.
Email — a letter sent through the terminal’s mail settings.
Telegram — the signal text together with a chart screenshot, sent straight to your Telegram chat.
Enable only the channels you need, and you are notified the moment a new cross appears on the symbol and timeframe you are working with.
Visual history (HTML report)
Enable the Html channel, and every signal is saved to an HTML report together with a screenshot of the chart at the moment it fired. The report is stored in the terminal’s Files folder, in the VibeFox_UTBot directory, and opens in any browser — a visual log of all the crosses the indicator found. A one-click trash button clears the report and its screenshots whenever you want to start over.
Telegram alerts
Signals can also be delivered straight to your Telegram chat — the signal text together with a screenshot of the chart at the moment of detection. Turn on the Telegram channel and enter your bot token and chat id in the inputs.
Delivery rides on the HTML report: each new signal is written into the report, and the report — opened in a browser — forwards it to your Telegram chat on its own. For this reason, enabling Telegram automatically keeps the Html report on, and the two channels work together.
