VibeFox BSU/BPU Levels is a real-time support/resistance indicator for MetaTrader 5. It detects the bars that create price levels (BSU), counts how many later bars confirm each level (BPU), draws the strongest levels as horizontal rays right on the price chart, and marks bounce and breakout entry points the moment they appear. Every control is gathered into one modern interactive panel, so you read market structure and the entry point at the very moment they form.

How the indicator works

The indicator is built on two ideas borrowed from price-action structure analysis: the bar that sets up a level and the bars that confirm it.

BSU (level-setup bar) is a confirmed fractal pivot — a bar whose high is the highest, or whose low is the lowest, over a number of bars on each side (the Wing). Its extreme price becomes a horizontal level: a high becomes a resistance, a low becomes a support.

BPU (level-confirming bar) is a later bar that touches the level zone (the level price plus/minus the tolerance) and closes back on the correct side — a rejection. Every such touch adds one BPU to the level. The BPU count is the level’s strength: the more confirmations a level has collected, the more important it is, and the thicker its line is drawn (levels with two or more BPU get a thicker line, four or more get thicker still).

The construction is shaped by four core parameters. Bars (Lookback) sets how many recent bars are scanned for levels. Wing sets how many bars on each side must be lower (for a high) or higher (for a low) for a bar to qualify as a BSU pivot — a larger wing keeps only the more significant swing extremes. Tolerance is the half-width of the level zone in points; set it to 0 and the indicator derives it automatically from the scanned price range. Min BPU is the minimum number of confirmations a level must have to be shown and traded, so weak, unconfirmed levels are filtered out.

The levels are drawn directly on the price chart as horizontal ray objects, while the indicator itself lives in its own subwindow, where the control panel sits. Each level carries a tooltip showing whether it is support or resistance, its BPU count and its price.

Entry points

The main value of VibeFox BSU/BPU Levels is its automatic entry points: the indicator tracks the conditions itself and places a clear marker right on the price chart. Two independent signal types are available, each with its own toggle.

Entry — Bounce (rejection from a level)

The bounce signal fires when price reaches a confirmed level and is rejected from it. A rejection at a support level places a BUY marker below the bar — buyers defended the level. A rejection at a resistance level places a SELL marker above the bar — sellers defended the level. This is the mean-reversion signal: it trades the level holding.

Entry — Break (close beyond a level)

The breakout signal fires on the first decisive close beyond a confirmed level. A close above a resistance level places a BUY marker — the level gave way and price is breaking up. A close below a support level places a SELL marker — the level gave way and price is breaking down. This is the momentum/continuation signal: it trades the level failing.

Buy and sell markers are colored separately with the Buy and Sell settings, so direction is read instantly. The Marker selector switches the glyph between a plain cross (+), filled triangles, or arrows with a tail, while the Size control scales the marker in pixels (6 to 40) to fit any chart density.

Full visual control

The level line color is set with Level and the base thickness with Width from 1 to 5 pixels (stronger levels are then drawn thicker automatically). The level line and both entry markers each support a transparency setting (0-100%) in the color picker popup, so you can blend them softly into the chart background. Markers on the price chart are sized and colored independently, so entries stand out clearly against any background.

Interactive on-chart panel

The whole interface is a smooth canvas-based panel built for fast mouse control. The level parameters are gathered into tidy rows, and the entry block is set apart with its own gold ENTRY heading, so signal settings do not get mixed up with level settings. The panel header holds the control icons.

Power — turns the drawing of entry markers on and off without removing the indicator from the chart (the levels themselves stay drawn).

Settings (gear) — opens and closes the settings section.

Updown (arrows) — moves the panel between its subwindow and the main chart.

Close (cross) — closes the indicator.

Resizable — drag the bottom-right corner to scale the panel.

Collapsible — a double click on the header collapses the panel into a compact strip.

Mouse wheel — hover over any numeric field and scroll the wheel to change the value without opening the keyboard.

Settings and personalization

The Settings button opens a section where the panel is fitted to your workspace: a light, dark or automatic Theme, an adjustable panel width, header size, row height and font size. Extra touches let you hide the bottom bar via Hide Footer, shrink the header when collapsed with Mini Header, and automatically collapse the panel on a click outside it. Almost every parameter changes live right on the panel — the input fields on the Inputs tab only set the starting values. You can also run several independent copies on one chart by giving each a unique Instance, to compare different level settings side by side.

Entry notifications

You do not need to sit and guard the chart waiting for a signal. Each entry can be sent through several notification channels that are enabled independently right on the panel.

Alert — a pop-up message inside the terminal.

Push — a mobile notification to the MetaTrader app on your phone.

Email — a letter sent through the terminal’s mail settings.

Telegram — the alert text together with a chart screenshot, sent straight to your Telegram chat.

Enable only the channels you need, and you will be notified the moment a new entry appears on the symbol and timeframe you are working with.

Visual history (HTML report)

Enable the Html channel, and every entry signal is saved to an HTML report together with a screenshot of the chart at the moment it fired. The report is stored in the terminal’s Files folder, in the VibeFox_BSU_BPU directory (MQL5/Files/VibeFox_BSU_BPU/result.html), and opens in any browser — you get a visual log of all the entries the indicator found. A one-click trash button clears the report and its screenshots whenever you want to start over.

Telegram Alerts

Signals can also be delivered straight to your Telegram chat — the alert text together with a screenshot of the chart at the moment of detection. Turn on the Telegram channel and enter your bot token and chat id in the inputs.

Delivery rides on the HTML report: each new signal is written into the report, and the report — opened in a browser — forwards it to your Telegram chat on its own. For this reason, enabling Telegram automatically keeps the Html report on, and the two channels work together.
