Overview
VibeFox DHL Packstation adds delivery to a DHL Packstation, Post Office (Postfiliale) or DHL Parcel Shop as a shipping method to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. When the customer selects it in the shipping step, a location picker appears under the shipping methods, with DHL locations near their address.
It suits stores that ship with DHL in Germany and want to offer locker and post office pickup. Prices come from your price list per country. The module does not calculate live DHL rates, create shipments, print labels or track parcels.
Key features
Locations near the customer: DHL locations around the shipping postcode or city come from the DHL Location Finder (Unified) API. The customer can search another postcode or city.
Three location types: Packstation, Post Office (Postfiliale) and DHL Parcel Shop, grouped by type with their distance. You choose which types are offered.
DHL Postnummer: required for a Packstation (6-12 digits), optional for other locations. The shipping step cannot be completed without a location, checked on the server.
Ready for label printing: optionally the order's shipping address becomes the location ("Packstation 105", "Postnummer 12345678", postcode and city of the location).
Location in the order: part of the order's shipping description, so it appears on the order confirmation page, in the customer account, in the order e-mails and on invoices. The admin order page shows it in its own block, with Change.
Simple prices: a fixed price per country, a price for other countries, per order or per item, free shipping from a subtotal. Magento cart price rules with free shipping work as usual.
Shipping rules: minimum and maximum cart weight (31.5 kg by default), minimum subtotal, and the countries you ship to (Germany and Austria by default).
Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Delivery Methods configuration page, with sections for the DHL API, pickup locations, prices, availability, settings per website, an encrypted API key, a connection test and a debug log viewer.
Requirements
Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service) with the standard Luma or Blank checkout, PHP 8.1 to 8.4. A free API key from the DHL developer portal with the "Location Finder - Unified" API. No DHL business contract is needed for this API. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
