Overview
VibeFox Omise Payment adds credit and debit card payments through Omise (Opn Payments) to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer fills in a card form at the payment step of your checkout and clicks Place Order. Omise.js sends the card data straight to Omise in the browser, your store receives only a one-time token, Magento places the order in Pending Payment and the module creates the charge on the server. 3-D Secure is handled by a redirect to the bank and back. The order is invoiced only after Omise confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.
It suits stores in Thailand, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and other markets served by Omise that want card payments with optional manual capture and refunds with the standard Magento credit memo. The module takes cards only. It has no PromptPay, TrueMoney, mobile banking, installments or other Omise payment methods, no saved cards, no subscriptions, no partial capture and no payments for orders created in the Admin.
Key features
Card form with Omise.js: cardholder name, card number, expiry and security code on the payment step. The card fields are never posted to your store.
Paid only when Omise confirms: the charge is always read again from the Omise API, and its amount and currency are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.
3-D Secure and webhook: the webhook confirms the order when the customer does not come back from 3-D Secure and picks up captures made in the Omise dashboard. Its body is never trusted.
Capture immediately or authorize only: an authorized order is captured with the standard Magento invoice (Capture Online) or voided by cancelling the order.
No double charges: repeated webhooks and returns never invoice an order twice. A retry first checks the previous charge of the cart, and an unfinished 3-D Secure attempt is expired before a new charge. A declined card cancels the waiting order and gives the cart back.
Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice with Refund, up to what Omise charged, with a refund history on the order.
Test and live modes: separate keys. Captures, refunds and status checks always use the keys of the mode the order was paid in. Sync payment status on the order reads the charge again on demand.
Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted secret keys, the webhook URL shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, 13 currencies (THB, JPY, SGD, MYR, USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, CNY, DKK, HKD) and an optional log without keys, tokens or card data.
Requirements
Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. An Omise account with public and secret keys for test and live mode and a webhook in the Omise dashboard (HTTPS). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
