Overview
VibeFox HyperPay Payment Gateway adds card payments through the HyperPay COPYandPAY widget to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses the payment method at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer sees the HyperPay payment widget on a payment page of your store and pays there with VISA, Mastercard, mada, American Express, STC Pay or Apple Pay. Card data is entered only in the HyperPay widget and never touches your server. The order is invoiced only after HyperPay confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.
It suits stores in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Egypt and other MENA markets with a HyperPay merchant account. The module has no refunds or voids from Magento (make them in the HyperPay dashboard), no partial capture, no saved cards, no subscriptions, no Apple Pay domain verification, no separate entity per brand, no buy-now-pay-later methods and no payments for orders created in the Admin.
Key features
HyperPay widget: the COPYandPAY widget on a payment page of your store, loaded with Subresource Integrity, in the store language when HyperPay supports it. You choose which brands it shows.
Paid only when HyperPay confirms: by a server-to-server status request when the customer returns, and by encrypted webhooks (AES-256-GCM) when the browser is closed. The invoice is created with the HyperPay payment ID as the transaction ID.
Checked against the order: the payment must belong to one of the order's own HyperPay checkouts, and the amount and currency must match the order. A mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.
No double processing: each result is applied once. Repeated webhooks or page reloads never invoice an order twice. Duplicate payments, payments after cancellation, reversals, refunds and chargebacks are noted on the order.
Debit or pre-authorization: charge at once, or reserve the amount and capture it later with Capture HyperPay payment on the order page, which creates the paid invoice.
Test and live: separate Access Token, Entity ID and webhook key for each mode. Status checks, captures and webhooks always use the mode in which the checkout was created.
Clear handling of failures: a declined payment or a payment that cannot be started cancels the waiting order, gives the cart back and shows a message in the cart.
Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted keys, the webhook URL shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, a HyperPay payment history on the order page and an optional log without keys or customer data.
Requirements
Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4 with the OpenSSL (AES-256-GCM) and cURL extensions. A HyperPay merchant account with Access Token and Entity ID (test and live), and a payment webhook with its decryption key. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
