Overview
VibeFox Razorpay Payment adds payments through Razorpay to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses Razorpay at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the Razorpay Checkout popup opens on a payment page of your store. It offers the methods enabled in your Razorpay account, such as UPI, credit and debit cards, NetBanking and wallets. Card and bank details are entered in the Razorpay popup, not on your site. The order is invoiced only after Razorpay confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.
It suits stores in India and other stores with a Razorpay account that want UPI and local payment methods. Currencies other than INR and MYR may need International Payments enabled on your Razorpay account. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no subscriptions, saved cards, Razorpay Magic Checkout, Payment Links, Route (split payments), offer widgets, or payments for orders created in the Admin.
Key features
Paid only when Razorpay confirms: the module checks the Razorpay signature and fetches the payment from the Razorpay API. Only a payment of exactly the order amount and currency creates the invoice. A mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.
Webhook: signed webhooks confirm payments even when the customer closes the browser right after paying. Webhooks without a valid signature are rejected.
No double payment: if the order is already paid on Razorpay, the module finds the payment instead of asking for a second one. Repeated callbacks and webhooks never invoice an order twice. An additional payment only adds a note.
Authorize and capture, or Authorize only: charge at once, or reserve the money and capture it later with Capture Razorpay payment on the order page. The invoice appears only after the capture is confirmed.
Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice with Refund, up to the amount Razorpay actually charged. Refunds made in the Razorpay Dashboard are recorded on the order.
Test and live modes: separate Test and Live keys. Payments, captures and refunds of an order always use the keys of the mode it was paid in.
Amounts in every currency: two-decimal, zero-decimal (JPY, KRW and others) and three-decimal currencies (KWD, BHD, OMR) are sent the way Razorpay expects.
Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted secrets, the webhook URL shown on the page, minimum and maximum order totals, the payment history in the order for the Admin, and a log without keys.
Requirements
Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. A Razorpay account with a Key ID and Key Secret, and a webhook (recommended). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
