Overview

VibeFox Quickpay Gateway adds Quickpay as a payment method to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses Quickpay at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer is sent to the Quickpay payment window and pays there with a card, MobilePay or another method enabled on your Quickpay account. Card data never touches your site. The invoice and the order e-mail are created only after Quickpay confirms the payment with a signed callback.

It suits stores in Denmark and the Nordics that already have a Quickpay account. You choose whether payments are captured at once or only authorized and captured later from the order page. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no subscriptions, saved cards, partial capture or separate MobilePay, Apple Pay or Klarna buttons on your site, and it is not offered for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

Quickpay payment window: a Quickpay payment and payment link are created for the order total in the order currency, in the smallest unit of that currency, including ISK and JPY without decimals and KWD or BHD with three. The callback URL is sent with every payment, so nothing has to be set up in Quickpay.

Paid only when Quickpay confirms: only a callback with a valid HMAC-SHA256 signature changes an order, after the payment, the cart, the amount and the currency were checked. The customer's return to the store marks nothing as paid. The invoice carries the Quickpay payment ID as the transaction ID.

Amount and currency check: a captured amount or currency that differs from the order puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice. The amount actually received is shown on the order.

Automatic or manual capture: capture at once, or authorize only and click Capture Quickpay payment on the order page when you ship. An authorized order waits On Hold without an invoice; cancelling it in Magento also cancels the authorization in Quickpay.

No double processing: repeated or late callbacks never create a second invoice or reopen a cancelled or refunded order. A new attempt for the same cart reuses its Quickpay payment with a fresh link, so an old link cannot be paid in parallel. A failed or cancelled payment cancels the waiting order and gives the cart back.

Online refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds from the invoice, up to the amount Quickpay captured. A refund with an unclear result is not sent a second time. The final result from Quickpay is added to the order notes.

Test payments: accept Quickpay test cards while your account is in test mode. With the setting off, a test payment never marks an order as paid.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with encrypted keys, a Test API key button, the callback URL on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and a log without keys, card data or customer data. The admin order page shows every Quickpay attempt and refund.
