VibeFox LP Express for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox LP Express adds a shipping method to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce that delivers to LP Express parcel terminals in Lithuania. At the shipping step of checkout the customer chooses a city and then a parcel terminal. The customer cannot continue without a valid terminal, and the chosen terminal is saved with the order.

It suits Lithuanian stores that send parcels to LP Express terminals and know their own (contract) prices. LP Express has no public price API, so you enter the prices in a table by country and cart weight. The module does not request LP Express or Unisend prices, create shipments, print labels, call a courier or track parcels, and it does not offer courier (door-to-door) delivery.

Key features

Terminal selector: City, then Parcel terminal, under the shipping methods in the standard Magento checkout. The city of the delivery address is pre-selected.

Safe terminal choice: the terminal is checked on the server when it is chosen, when the customer clicks Next and again when the order is placed, so a forged or outdated terminal ID is refused. The terminal name saved with the order is taken from the list, not from the browser.

Terminal in the order: added to the shipping description of the order, so the customer sees it in their account and in the order e-mails, and shown with the terminal ID in a block on the admin order page.

Two terminal sources: the open LP Express terminal list, cached for 24 hours with the last good copy kept, and your own list, one terminal per line. If no terminal is available at all, the method is hidden and the settings page tells you why.

Your own prices: a table per country with a base price and weight columns XS up to 1 kg to XL above 5 kg, an "all other countries" row and a fallback cost. Per order or per item. Decimals as 2.99 or 2,99.

Shipping rules: free shipping from a cart subtotal, minimum order amount, minimum and maximum weight (default 30 kg) and the countries you ship to. Magento cart price rules with free shipping work as usual.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Delivery Methods configuration page, with sections for prices, conditions and terminals, settings per website or store view, status notices and a debug log viewer.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. No LP Express API account is needed. You enter your own prices. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
