VibeFox Transbank for Adobe Commerce

Overview

VibeFox Transbank Gateway adds Transbank Webpay Plus payments for Chile to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. The customer chooses Webpay Plus at the payment step and clicks Place Order. Magento places the order in Pending Payment, and the customer goes to the Webpay payment form, pays by credit, debit or prepaid card and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. The order is invoiced only after Transbank confirms the payment, and the order e-mail is sent only then.

It suits stores that sell in Chilean pesos (CLP) and have a standard Webpay Plus commerce code. Transbank has no payment webhook: the payment is confirmed server-to-server when the customer returns from Webpay. The module has no Webpay Plus Mall, Oneclick saved cards, subscriptions, deferred capture or currency conversion, does not import refunds made in the Transbank portal and does not take payments for orders created in the Admin.

Key features

Webpay Plus redirect: a Transbank transaction is created for the order total in whole pesos, and the customer pays on the Webpay form. Nothing has to be set up at Transbank: the return URL is sent with every payment.

Paid only when Transbank confirms: on return the module confirms (commits) the transaction with Transbank and compares the amount, buy order and session with the order. A mismatch puts the order On Hold without an invoice.

Confirmed at most once: reloading the return page, the browser back button or two returns at the same moment never confirm a payment twice or create a second invoice. A cancelled or already paid order is not charged by a late return.

Safe on errors: if the confirmation call fails, the module asks Transbank for the real transaction status before it invoices the order, and the customer can check the payment again.

Refunds with Credit Memo: full and partial refunds in whole pesos through the standard Magento Credit Memo of the invoice, always in the environment where the payment was made.

Test without credentials: the integration environment uses the public test commerce code of Transbank automatically.

Webpay payment history: the order page lists every Webpay attempt and refund with its status, and offers a refund form for payments that need manual review.

Standard Magento settings: all settings are on the standard Payment Methods configuration page, with an encrypted API key, the return URL shown on the page, countries and minimum and maximum order totals, and an optional log without card data or keys.

Requirements

Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.6 to 2.4.9 (your own server or Adobe Commerce on cloud infrastructure; not Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service), PHP 8.1 to 8.4. Order currency Chilean peso (CLP). For live payments, a production Webpay Plus commerce code and API key from Transbank. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
