Overview
VibeFox ePayco Payment adds payments through the ePayco checkout to Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce. After Place Order the order is placed in Pending Payment, and the ePayco checkout opens as a popup over your store or as a redirect to the ePayco payment page. There the customer pays with the methods enabled on your ePayco account: cards, PSE bank transfers, cash networks or wallets. The order is marked paid only after ePayco confirms the transaction: Magento creates the invoice and sends the order e-mail at that moment. Declined, abandoned or expired payments end with a cancelled order and a restored cart.
It suits stores in Colombia that sell in Colombian pesos (COP) or US dollars (USD) and have an ePayco account. The module takes one-time payments only. It has no refunds from Magento (refunds are made in the ePayco dashboard and recorded with an offline credit memo), no saved cards, subscriptions or split payments, and does not poll ePayco for pending transactions.
Key features
ePayco Checkout: a checkout session is created for the order total in the order currency, with taxes, the billing name, address, e-mail and phone. Popup or redirect, in Spanish or English following the store locale.
Paid only when ePayco confirms: the invoice is created after a signed ePayco confirmation or after a server-side check of the transaction when the customer returns to the store. Confirmations without a valid signature are rejected.
Pending payments: PSE transfers and cash payments wait in Pending Payment and are invoiced when ePayco approves them.
Amount and currency check: the amount and currency approved by ePayco are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order On Hold with a note and without an invoice.
No double processing: repeated confirmations and returns never create a second invoice. A second approved payment for a paid order or cart is flagged with a note.
Test mode: checkout sessions are created as test transactions. A test transaction never pays an order placed in live mode.
Reversals: a reversal of the paying transaction reported by ePayco is recorded with an offline credit memo and closes the order.
Standard Magento settings: the Payment Methods page, secret keys stored encrypted, the confirmation URL shown on the page, countries and Minimum/Maximum Order Total, and an error log.
ePayco details on the order page: reference, transaction, state, payment method, approval code and mode in the payment information, and a table of every payment attempt of the cart.
