VibeFox USPS for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox USPS adds USPS delivery to WooCommerce as a regular shipping method. It gets live rates from the current USPS APIs with OAuth 2.0 for domestic and international parcels and shows the customer one USPS option with the cheapest of the services you select. Fixed prices take over when USPS gives no rate.

It suits shops that mail parcels from the United States with USPS. The legacy Web Tools API, retired by USPS in January 2026, is not used. The plugin calculates rates only. It does not buy postage or labels, book pickups, track parcels, offer Post Office or pickup location selection, or add insurance and other extra services.

Key features

Current USPS APIs: OAuth 2.0 with Domestic Prices 3.0 and International Prices 3.0. Production and the USPS Testing Environment for Mailers.

Your choice of services: USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, First-Class Package International Service, Priority Mail (Express) International, Media Mail and Library Mail. The cheapest selected service is shown and saved with the order.

Honest prices: only regular single-piece prices for your parcel. Flat Rate, Cubic, Hold for Pickup and Sunday prices are never picked just because they are cheaper. Retail or Commercial prices.

Currency handling: USPS prices are in USD. In other store currencies they are converted with your USD exchange rate, never shown as euros.

Correct parcel: weight and dimensions converted to pounds and inches, a default weight for products without one, and the parcel size from a box size or the product dimensions.

Fixed prices as fallback: a price table by country with weight tiers and a fallback price, used without API keys and when USPS does not answer.

Fast checkout: quotes are cached for 1 hour. After errors USPS is paused for 5 minutes, so an outage does not slow down every checkout update.

Shipping rules and modern WooCommerce: free shipping from a subtotal, minimum subtotal, weight limits, excluded shipping classes, zones or a list of countries, Cart and Checkout blocks, HPOS.

Requirements

WordPress 5.8 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. An app in the USPS Developer Portal (Consumer Key and Consumer Secret) and a 5-digit US ship-from ZIP code. Fixed prices work without keys. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
