VibeFox Omniva for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox Omniva adds delivery to Omniva parcel machines in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to WooCommerce as a regular shipping method. At checkout the customer chooses a city and then a parcel machine of the delivery country. The order cannot be placed without a valid parcel machine, and the chosen parcel machine is saved in the order.

It suits Baltic shops that send parcels to Omniva parcel machines and know their own (contract) prices. Omniva has no public price API, so you enter the prices per country and Omniva parcel size (S, M, L, XL); the plugin finds the parcel size from the product dimensions. The plugin does not request Omniva prices, register shipments, print labels, call a courier or track parcels, and it does not offer courier (door-to-door) delivery.

Key features

Parcel machine selector: City, then Parcel machine, under the shipping method in the classic checkout and in the Cart and Checkout blocks. Only parcel machines of the delivery country are offered, and the list changes when the customer changes the country. The city of the shipping address is pre-selected when it matches.

Safe choice: the parcel machine is checked on the server, so a forged ID or a parcel machine of another country is refused. The name saved in the order is taken from the list, not from the browser.

Parcel machine in the order: shown on the admin order screen, on the order received page, in My account and in the order e-mails (HTML and plain text). On the admin order screen you can change the parcel machine; an order note records the change.

Official Omniva list: the open Omniva locations file (no key or contract needed), downloaded once a day and stored in the database. If omniva.ee does not answer, the stored copy keeps working. An Update the list now button and a status line with the number of parcel machines per country. Omniva post offices can be added as an option.

Prices by country and parcel size: a price table for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with sizes S, M, L and XL and a "Free from" cart total per country. The parcel size is found from the product dimensions, per order (items stacked into one parcel) or per item. Size limits are editable. Decimals as 3.50 or 3,50.

Shipping rules: minimum and maximum weight (default 30 kg), minimum cart total, excluded shipping classes, tax status. Store weight and dimension units are converted to kg and cm.

Flexible availability: works with WooCommerce shipping zones (a zone can have its own title) or without them, using a list of countries.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Cart and Checkout blocks, HPOS. Logs in WooCommerce without customer data. Translation template included.

Requirements

WordPress 5.8 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. No Omniva API account is needed. You enter your own prices. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
