VibeFox Mercado Envios for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox Mercado Envios adds Mercado Envios delivery to WooCommerce as a regular shipping method for stores in Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. It asks the Mercado Envios calculator of your Mercado Pago account for a live rate for the customer's postcode and cart, and shows the cheapest Mercado Envios option in the cart and at checkout. Prices per country and weight are used when there is no live rate.

It suits shops that sell with Mercado Pago and have Mercado Envios enabled for their account. The plugin calculates shipping rates at checkout. It does not create shipments, print labels or track parcels, it shows one option (the cheapest) rather than a choice between all options, and it has no pickup point selector.

Key features

Live Mercado Envios rates: the parcel is described by destination postcode, dimensions and weight, and the cheapest Mercado Envios option is shown. The parcel origin is the shipping address configured in your Mercado Pago account.

Argentina, Brazil and Mexico: rates in ARS, BRL or MXN. Postcodes are normalised (Argentine CPA C1425ABC becomes 1425, Brazilian CEP 8 digits, Mexican CP 5 digits), and parcel sides and weight are raised to the Mercado Envios minimums of the country.

Safe currency handling: if your store currency differs from the Mercado Envios currency, set an exchange rate. Without it, live rates are not used and the settings page warns about it, so pesos are never shown as euros or dollars.

Prices without live rates: a table of prices per destination country with weight tiers XS to XL, and a fallback cost. They are used without an access token, outside the Mercado Envios country and when the API gives no rate.

Fast checkout: requests time out after 10 seconds, quotes are cached for 1 hour, and a failed request is not repeated for 5 minutes. The last API error is shown on the settings page.

Service on the order: the service name and the estimated delivery time are saved on the order shipping line.

Shipping rules: per order or per item prices, minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum subtotal, free shipping from a subtotal, excluded shipping classes, tax status, per-zone title, optional work without shipping zones.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Cart and Checkout blocks, HPOS. Debug log without the access token or customer addresses. Spanish (Spain, Argentina, Mexico) and Brazilian Portuguese included.

Requirements

WordPress 5.8 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. Live rates need a Mercado Pago account in Argentina, Brazil or Mexico with Mercado Envios enabled, and its production Access Token. Prices per country work without one. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
