Overview
VibeFox Frenet adds Frenet shipping for Brazil to WooCommerce as a regular shipping method. Frenet is a Brazilian freight gateway: one account and one API token give you quotes from Correios, Jadlog, Loggi, J&T, Total Express and the other carriers you enable in the Frenet panel. For an address in Brazil the plugin sends the cart to Frenet and shows one price, the cheapest or the fastest service. Fixed prices are used when there is no live quote.
It suits Brazilian shops with a Frenet account, and shops that also sell abroad with fixed prices. The plugin calculates shipping rates at checkout. It does not create shipments, print labels or track parcels, does not show several Frenet services at once and has no pickup points or lockers. Frenet quotes within Brazil only.
Key features
Live Frenet quote: the cart items (weight, dimensions, quantity), the order value and the origin CEP are sent to Frenet. The customer sees one price: the cheapest or the fastest service, as you choose.
Carrier in the order: the chosen carrier, service and delivery time are saved with the shipping line and shown on the admin order screen.
Fixed prices by country and cart size: a price per country, optionally by cart weight (XS up to 1 kg to XL above 5 kg), and a fallback cost. Used without a token, outside Brazil and whenever Frenet returns no price.
Safe currency handling: Frenet always quotes in Brazilian reais. In another store currency you enter the BRL exchange rate. Without it live quotes are not used.
Fast checkout: quotes are cached for 1 hour and failed requests for 10 minutes. The checkout never waits for or breaks on the API.
Shipping rules: minimum and maximum cart weight, minimum order amount, excluded shipping classes, free shipping from an order amount, tax status.
Flexible availability: works with WooCommerce shipping zones (with a title per zone) or without them, using a list of countries.
Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Cart and Checkout blocks, HPOS. Errors in WooCommerce logs without the token. Portuguese (Brazil) included.
Requirements
WordPress 5.8 or later, WooCommerce 5.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. Live quotes need a free Frenet account with enabled carriers and its API token. Fixed prices work without an account. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
