Overview
VibeFox FedEx adds FedEx shipping to WooCommerce as a regular shipping method. It gets live rates from the current FedEx REST API (OAuth 2.0 and Rate API) and shows the customer one FedEx option with the cheapest FedEx service for the cart, for example FedEx Ground, Home Delivery, 2Day or International Economy. Fixed prices per country are used when there is no live rate.
It suits shops with a FedEx shipping account that ship domestically or internationally. The plugin calculates shipping rates at checkout. It does not create FedEx shipments, print labels, book pickups, track parcels or let customers choose a FedEx location. It shows one option, not several FedEx services, and quotes the cart as one package.
Key features
Current FedEx REST API: OAuth 2.0 token and Rate API v1, no meter number or web services password. Sandbox and production environments.
Cheapest service, saved in the order: the customer sees one FedEx option, and the service name is stored with the order for the shop manager.
Your FedEx prices: account (negotiated) or list rates, residential or business delivery, optional box size for dimensional weight.
Safe currency handling: FedEx is asked to quote in your store currency. A rate in another currency is converted with your exchange rate or not used, never shown as if it were in your currency.
Domestic and international: the customs value of the cart is sent for international quotes. Weights in kg or lb follow your store units, with a default weight for products without one.
Fixed prices as a fallback: a price per country and a fallback price, per order or per item. Checkout never breaks and customers never see FedEx error texts.
Fast checkout: quotes are cached for 1 hour. A failed request is remembered for 10 minutes, a failed token for 5 minutes.
Modern WooCommerce: free shipping from a subtotal, minimum subtotal, weight limits, excluded shipping classes, shipping zones or a list of countries, classic and block checkout, HPOS.
Requirements
WordPress 5.8 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. Live rates need a FedEx shipping account and a FedEx Developer Portal project with the Rate API (API Key and Secret Key). Fixed prices work without them. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
