VibeFox Delhivery for WooCommerce — Help
Requirements
WordPress: 5.8 or later.
WooCommerce: 5.0 or later, installed and active. The plugin refuses to activate without it.
PHP: 8.0 or later.
Delhivery API token (for live rates only): log in to Delhivery One and open Settings > API setup. The Delhivery help article "API token generation" explains the steps. Test tokens work with the staging environment. You also need the 6-digit pincode of your pickup location. If you only use fixed prices, you do not need a token.
VibeFox license key: bought on vibefox.net. One key works on one domain.
Installation
1. In WordPress go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the plugin ZIP file and click Install Now. You can also upload the vfd_delhivery folder to /wp-content/plugins/ by FTP.
2. Click Activate.
3. Open the settings: WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > VibeFox Delhivery, or click Settings under the plugin name on the Plugins page.
4. Enter your VibeFox license key in the license block at the top of the page and click Activate.
5. Enter the API token and your origin pincode, choose Express or Surface and Pre-paid or COD. If your store currency is not INR, enter the conversion rate. Optionally enter fixed prices (see Configuration).
6. Add VibeFox Delhivery to a shipping zone (for example India) in WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Shipping zones, or turn on Ignore zones and choose countries.
Configuration
All settings are on one page: WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > VibeFox Delhivery. They apply to every shipping zone. When you add the method to a zone, the zone window has only one field:
Title (zone): the name customers see for this zone. Leave it empty to use the global Method title.
Every time you save the settings, the cached Delhivery rates are cleared. Prices and amounts accept "9.99" and "9,99".
General
Enable/Disable: turns the method on or off in all zones at once.
Method title: the shipping method name shown at checkout. Default: Delhivery. A zone can override it with its own Title.
Tax status: Taxable adds WooCommerce tax on top of the shipping cost, None does not.
Delhivery API account (needed for live rates only)
Environment: Production (track.delhivery.com) (default) or Staging / test account (staging-express.delhivery.com). Use Staging only with a Delhivery test token.
API token: your Delhivery API token. It is sent only in the authorization header and never written to logs.
Origin pincode: the 6-digit pincode of your pickup location or warehouse, for example 110001.
Live rates
A live rate is requested for Indian destinations with a valid 6-digit pincode, for a forward (delivered) shipment.
Shipping mode: the Delhivery billing mode used for the rate: Express (default) or Surface.
Payment type: the payment type sent to Delhivery: Pre-paid (default) or COD (cash on delivery, Delhivery adds its COD charge). The plugin does not switch it by the payment method the customer chooses.
Rate amount: Delhivery returns the charge with and without GST.
INR to (store currency) conversion rate: Delhivery rates are in Indian rupees. If your store currency is not INR, enter how many units of your currency one rupee is worth, for example 0.011. Leave it empty and live rates are not used, the fixed prices apply and a warning is shown above the settings. Not needed when your store currency is INR.
Fixed prices (used when no live rate is available)
Fixed prices are used when there is no token or pincode yet, the destination is outside India, the pincode is not serviceable or the API returns an error. They are in your store currency.
Prices per country: one per line in the format COUNTRY_CODE:price, for example IN:120. Checked before the fallback price.
Fallback price: used when neither a live rate nor a country price applies. Leave it empty to hide the method. 0 means free.
Fixed price is charged: Per order charges the price once. Per item (price × quantity) multiplies it by the number of items in the cart. A live Delhivery rate is always for the whole parcel weight.
Conditions
Free shipping from: delivery is free if the cart subtotal is at least this amount. No request goes to Delhivery. Leave empty to turn it off.
Show from subtotal: show the method only if the cart subtotal is at least this amount. Leave empty to always show it.
Min weight (kg): the minimum cart weight to show the method. 0 means no limit.
Max weight (kg): hide the method if the cart is heavier. Default: 30. 0 means no limit.
Product weights are converted to kg from your store weight unit. The rate uses the actual cart weight (the sum of product weights), without volumetric weight or boxes.
Excluded shipping classes: hide the method if any cart item belongs to one of these WooCommerce shipping classes.
Availability without shipping zones
Ignore zones: offer Delhivery without adding it to a shipping zone, for the countries below.
Countries: the destination countries for that mode. Leave empty to use all countries you ship to. Used only when Ignore zones is on.
Advanced
Debug log: logs rate calculations in WooCommerce > Status > Logs, source vfd_delhivery. API errors are always logged, even when this is off. Tokens and full customer pincodes are never logged.
Remove data on uninstall: when on, deleting the plugin removes all its settings, zone methods and cached rates. Deactivating the plugin never deletes anything.
How it works at checkout
When the customer enters a delivery address, WooCommerce asks the plugin for a rate. The plugin first checks the cart weight, the subtotal and the excluded shipping classes. If free shipping applies, the customer gets free delivery and no request goes to Delhivery.
For an Indian address with a valid 6-digit pincode, the plugin sends Delhivery the origin and destination pincodes, the cart weight in grams, the shipping mode and the payment type, and shows the returned amount converted to your store currency. Each answer is cached for 1 hour. A failed request is cached for 10 minutes, so the checkout does not wait for Delhivery on every refresh. The API timeout is 10 seconds.
If there is no live rate, the price for the country or the fallback price is used. If neither is set, the method is hidden. The customer never sees an API error.
The method works on the classic checkout and on the Cart and Checkout blocks. It is compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS).
The plugin calculates rates and shows a tracking link. It does not create shipments or waybills, print labels, request pickups or manifests, check pincode serviceability, estimate delivery dates, sync tracking statuses or quote international Delhivery rates. Outside India only the fixed prices are used.
Orders and tracking
On the order screen, under the shipping address, the Delhivery block shows the shipping mode (Express or Surface) and the price source: live Delhivery rate, fixed price or free shipping threshold.
Create the shipment in Delhivery One, then paste its AWB into the Delhivery AWB / tracking number field and save the order. A Track on delhivery.com link appears in the admin. The customer sees Delhivery tracking with a link on the order page in My account and in order e-mails (HTML and plain text). The AWB is saved before the order status, so the "Completed order" e-mail already includes it when you complete the order in the same save.
License key
The plugin works with a VibeFox license key from vibefox.net. The license block is at the top of WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > VibeFox Delhivery. Paste the key into License key and click Activate. The block shows the status, for example the date the license is active until and your domain. Use Check now to check the status again, Change key to enter another key and Remove key to remove it from this site. The link Manage licenses and domains in your account opens your vibefox.net account.
One key works on one domain. Removing the key from a site does not free its domain slot. Free the slot in your vibefox.net account.
Without an active key, Delhivery is not shown to customers at checkout. Logged-in store managers still see it, marked (unlicensed — visible to admins only), so you can set up and test the plugin before you buy a key. A reminder appears on the Plugins page and on WooCommerce pages. Existing orders are not affected.
When a license expires, the plugin keeps working, but updates and support need a renewal. The status is checked again automatically in the background.
Troubleshooting
Delhivery does not appear at checkout: check that the license is active, Enable/Disable is on, and the method is added to the zone of the customer's country (or Ignore zones is on and the country is allowed). Check the weight limits, Show from subtotal and Excluded shipping classes. Without a live rate, a country price or a Fallback price is needed.
Live rates do not appear: check the API token, a valid Origin pincode and, in a non-INR store, the conversion rate. The customer must enter a valid 6-digit Indian pincode. Turn on Debug log and open WooCommerce > Status > Logs, source vfd_delhivery, to see the API errors, for example a pincode that is not serviceable.
GST is charged twice: Delhivery's total amount already includes GST. Set Rate amount to Gross amount (excluding GST) or Tax status to None.
Testing: use Environment Staging with a Delhivery test token.
Rates look outdated after a change: save the settings page. This clears the cached Delhivery rates.
The license block shows an error: follow the message in the block. For example, if the key is already used on another domain, free a slot in your vibefox.net account and click Check now. If the site address changed, click Check now to activate the key for the new domain. If the license server cannot be reached, the plugin keeps working on the last known status.
Uninstall
Deactivating the plugin keeps all data. To remove it, deactivate and delete it on the Plugins page. The license key and license status of this plugin are always removed. Settings, zone methods and cached rates are removed only if Remove data on uninstall was on. Otherwise they stay for a later re-install. AWB numbers stay in the orders, and existing orders keep their shipping lines.
