VibeFox Blue Express for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox Blue Express adds Blue Express delivery in Chile to WooCommerce as a regular shipping method. Customers get the parcel at home or pick it up at a Blue Express point they choose on the official Blue Express map. The price is a live rate from the Blue Express API or a fixed price per country.

It suits Chilean shops that ship with Blue Express. The plugin calculates rates and saves the chosen pickup point in the order. It does not create Blue Express shipments or labels, assign tracking numbers or track parcels, and it has no regional rate tables per commune. Live rates work for Chile only.

Key features

Live Blue Express rates: services Express (EX), Prioritario (PY) and SameDay (MD), with fixed prices per country as the only price source or as a fallback when the API gives no rate.

Home delivery and pickup points: add the method twice to a shipping zone to offer both. The customer picks a Blue Express point on the official map in the classic checkout and in the block checkout.

Pickup price: after a point is chosen, the rate is recalculated with the Blue Express pickup (PUDO) price. The order cannot be placed without a point.

Pickup point in the order: shown in the admin order screen (can be changed there), on the customer's order page and in order e-mails.

Correct parcels and currency: weights and dimensions are converted to kg and cm, and prices in CLP are converted to your store currency with your exchange rate.

Fast checkout: rates are cached for 1 hour and commune data for 12 hours. A failed API call is remembered for 5 minutes, so a slow API does not slow down the checkout.

Shipping rules: minimum and maximum weight, minimum subtotal, excluded shipping classes, free shipping from a subtotal, per-order or per-item fixed prices, tax status, work without shipping zones.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Cart and Checkout blocks, HPOS. Spanish translations included.

Requirements

WordPress 5.8 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. Live rates need a Blue Express e-commerce account and its API key. Fixed prices work without one. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
