VibeFox Wompi for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox Wompi Payment adds Wompi Colombia payments to WooCommerce. After placing the order, the customer is sent to the Wompi Web Checkout and pays there with any payment method enabled in your Wompi account, such as cards, PSE, Nequi, Bancolombia transfer, QR or button, Daviplata and others. Then the customer comes back to your store. No payment data is entered on your site.

It suits stores in Colombia that sell in Colombian pesos (COP) and have a Wompi merchant account. The plugin does not refund from WooCommerce: refunds and voids are made in the Wompi merchant dashboard. It has no saved cards, subscriptions or card fields on your site, and it does not support Wompi El Salvador or Panama.

Key features

Wompi Web Checkout: the payment request is protected by the Wompi integrity signature. The customer's e-mail and name are passed to Wompi.

Paid only when Wompi confirms: an order is marked paid after a signed Wompi event or after a server-side check of the transaction when the customer returns to the store. In both cases the transaction is read from the Wompi API.

Amount and currency check: the amount and currency of the approved transaction are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order on hold with a note.

Delayed payments: PSE, Nequi and other payments that wait for confirmation put the order on hold until Wompi approves or declines them.

No double processing: every transaction status is applied once, so there are no duplicate notes, e-mails or stock changes. Late payments never reopen cancelled or refunded orders, and a second payment for a paid order only adds a note.

Sandbox and production: separate keys for each environment. Each order keeps the environment it was paid in. Key prefix warnings on save.

Clear availability: the payment method is shown only for COP orders from COP 1,500 with all keys of the current mode set. The settings page tells which key is missing.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, the Pay for order page, HPOS. Spanish translations (Colombia, Spain). Errors are always logged, without keys or customer data.

Requirements

WordPress 5.8 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. Store currency Colombian peso (COP). A Wompi Colombia merchant account with the public key, private key, events secret and integrity secret of the sandbox and of production. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
