Overview
WC TrustPay Gateway adds card payments through finby (formerly TrustPay) to WooCommerce. After placing the order, the customer is sent to the secure finby card payment page with 3-D Secure, pays by card and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site. The plugin connects to the finby REST API with the Project ID and Secret key of your finby project.
It suits stores that want to accept cards with a finby account without building a card form on their own site. The plugin takes card payments only. It has no bank transfers, Apple Pay or Google Pay buttons, saved cards, subscriptions, separate authorize and capture, or status polling.
Key features
finby payment page: a card payment request is created for the order total in the order currency. The payment page opens in the store language when finby supports it, otherwise in English.
Paid only when finby confirms: an order is marked paid only after a signed server-to-server notification from finby. The customer's return to the store never changes the payment status.
Strict notification check: the signature, the payment request of the order, the project, the amount and the currency must all match. A mismatch puts the order on hold with a note.
No double processing: repeated or parallel notifications never pay an order twice, send duplicate e-mails or reduce stock twice. Cancelled or refunded orders are never reopened by a late payment.
Test and live projects: separate Project ID and Secret key for each mode. Refunds always go to the project the order was paid through.
Refunds: full and partial refunds from the WooCommerce order screen. A refund is recorded only when finby accepts it.
Order status of your choice: Processing or Completed after a successful payment, set in one step with one customer e-mail.
Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, the Pay for order page, HPOS. 12 currencies, including EUR, CZK, HUF and PLN. English, Slovak and Czech translations. Error log without keys or customer data.
Requirements
WordPress 6.0 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. A finby (TrustPay) account with a live project and, for testing, a test (playground) project, each with its Project ID and Secret key. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
