VibeFox Tap for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox Tap Payment Gateway adds Tap Payments to WooCommerce: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, mada, KNET, Benefit, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The customer pays on the secure Tap payment page or in the Tap checkout popup on your order payment page. Card data never touches your server.

It suits stores in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman and other Tap markets that want to accept local and international payment methods with a Tap account. The plugin takes one-time payments. It has no saved cards, subscriptions or card fields embedded in your checkout page, and no partial capture.

Key features

Two checkout types: the Tap payment page (redirect, recommended) or the Tap checkout popup on the order payment page, with the Tap payment page as a fallback.

Paid only when Tap confirms: the order is marked paid only after the plugin reads the payment from the Tap API, checks that it belongs to the order and compares the amount and currency with the order.

Signed webhook, nothing to configure: the webhook URL is sent with every payment. Notifications without a valid signature are rejected.

Correct amounts: KWD, BHD, OMR and JOD are sent with 3 decimals, SAR, AED, QAR, EUR and USD with 2.

Charge or authorize only: authorized orders are put on hold; capture them with the order action Capture Tap payment or release the funds with Void Tap authorization.

Refunds: full and partial refunds from the WooCommerce order screen, always sent with the key of the mode (test or live) the payment was made in.

Safe status handling: repeated webhooks and returns never complete an order twice; a late payment for a cancelled order puts it on hold; duplicate payments and amount mismatches are flagged in the order notes.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, the Pay for order page, HPOS. Tap page in English or Arabic; plugin translated into Arabic.

Requirements

WordPress 6.0 or later, WooCommerce 8.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. A Tap account with test and live API keys (the secret key; the publishable key only for the popup). Store currency AED, BHD, EGP, EUR, GBP, JOD, KWD, OMR, QAR, SAR or USD. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
