VibeFox SimplePay for WooCommerce

Overview

WC SimplePay Gateway adds card payments through SimplePay, the Hungarian payment service, to WooCommerce. It connects to the SimplePay v2 API. After placing the order, the customer is sent to the SimplePay payment page, pays by card and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site.

It suits stores that sell in HUF, EUR or USD and have SimplePay merchant accounts. The plugin takes one-time card payments only. It has no saved cards or one-click payments, no subscriptions or recurring payments, no separate authorize and capture, and no automatic sync of refunds made in the SimplePay merchant admin.

Key features

One account per currency: MERCHANT and SECRET KEY for HUF, EUR and USD, live and sandbox. The payment method is offered only for currencies that have an account in the current mode. HUF amounts are sent as whole forints.

Paid only when SimplePay confirms: an order is marked paid only after the signed SimplePay IPN, or after a signed status request when the customer returns with a successful result. The return alone never pays an order.

Signed requests: every request to SimplePay is signed, and signed answers are verified. IPNs with an invalid signature are rejected.

Amount and currency check: if the order total changed after the payment was started, the order is put on hold with a note instead of being marked paid.

No double processing: repeated or simultaneous IPNs and returns never complete an order twice, so there are no duplicate e-mails or stock reduction. Each retry gets its own SimplePay reference, and a late result of an older attempt is still recognised.

Refunds: full and partial refunds from the WooCommerce order screen, always with the merchant account and mode (sandbox or live) the payment was made with.

Messages SimplePay asks for: the SimplePay transaction ID on the order received page, and SimplePay's texts for failed, cancelled and timed-out payments at checkout.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, the Pay for order page, HPOS. Optional log without keys or customer data. English and Hungarian.

Requirements

WordPress 6.0 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. SimplePay merchant accounts (MERCHANT and SECRET KEY) for the currencies you sell in. Store currency HUF, EUR or USD. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
