VibeFox PayU India for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox PayU India Payment Gateway adds payments through the PayU India hosted checkout to WooCommerce. After placing the order, the customer is sent to PayU, pays by credit or debit card, NetBanking, UPI or a wallet (whatever is enabled on your PayU account) and comes back to your store. Card and bank data never touch your site.

It suits Indian stores that sell in rupees and want PayU's payment methods without building payment forms on their own site. The plugin charges in INR only and has no multi-currency processing. It has no saved cards or tokenization, no subscriptions, no on-site card form, no EMI or offer management and no one-click checkout. Refunds are queued at PayU; the plugin does not track their final status.

Key features

PayU hosted checkout: one payment method PayU India on the classic checkout, the Checkout block and the Pay for order page.

Signed requests and results: the payment request is signed with SHA-512 (Merchant Key and Salt). The result is accepted only with a valid PayU reverse hash made with the Salt of the mode in which the payment was started.

Paid only when PayU confirms: the transaction ID must have been issued by your store for that order and the paid amount must equal the order total to the paisa. Optionally (on by default) every successful payment is double-checked with the PayU verify_payment API.

No double processing: repeated returns, webhooks and reloads do not repeat notes, e-mails or stock changes. A paid, refunded or cancelled order is never reopened.

Pending UPI and NetBanking payments: the order is put on hold, not failed, until the final result arrives.

Separate Test and Live credentials: switching the mode switches both the keys and the PayU endpoints. Refunds always go to the mode of the payment.

Refunds: full and partial refunds from the WooCommerce order screen; the PayU request ID is saved in an order note.

Modern WooCommerce: optional webhook for customers who close the browser, HPOS compatible, log without keys, salts or personal data, Hindi translation included.

Requirements

WordPress 5.8 or later, WooCommerce 6.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. A PayU India account with Merchant Key and Merchant Salt (v1) for test and live mode, and INR as the store currency. A phone number at checkout. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
