VibeFox PayPlug for WooCommerce

Overview

PayPlug Gateway adds card payments through the PayPlug hosted payment page to WooCommerce. After placing the order, the customer is sent to the secure PayPlug page, pays by card (CB, Visa, Mastercard) and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site.

It suits stores that sell in euros and have a PayPlug account. Payments from 0.99 to 20,000.00 EUR are accepted and captured immediately. The plugin has no Oney installments, Bancontact, Apple Pay or American Express, no one-click saved cards, no embedded payment form, no subscriptions and no deferred capture.

Key features

Paid only when PayPlug confirms: PayPlug notifications are not signed, so the plugin never trusts the notification body. It takes only the payment ID and reads the payment from the PayPlug API with your secret key. The payment must be one of the checkout attempts of that order.

No notification setup: the notification URL is sent with every payment. The customer return is verified as well, so orders are paid even if the notification cannot reach your site.

Amount and currency check: the paid amount in cents and the currency are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order on hold with a note.

No double processing: repeated notifications or returns never complete an order twice, and a paid, cancelled or refunded order is never reopened. A repeated checkout reuses the open payment page or closes it, so there is no second payable payment.

Test and live modes: separate secret keys. Every payment keeps its own mode, and a test payment never completes an order while the store is live.

Refunds: full and partial refunds from the WooCommerce order screen. Refunds made in the PayPlug portal are noted on the order.

Order status of your choice: Processing or Completed after a successful payment, with one status change.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, the Pay for order page, HPOS. Logs without keys, card data or customer data. French translation included.

Requirements

WordPress 6.0 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. A PayPlug account with test and/or live secret keys. Store currency: euro (EUR). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
