Overview
PayMongo Payment Gateway adds PayMongo payments for the Philippines to WooCommerce. After placing the order, the customer is sent to the hosted PayMongo checkout page, pays by card, GCash, GrabPay, Maya or another method you selected, and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site.
It suits stores that sell in Philippine pesos (PHP) and have a PayMongo account. The plugin takes one-time payments of at least ₱100.00. It has no card fields on your own checkout page, no saved cards, no subscriptions or installments and no separate authorize and capture. Refunds made in the PayMongo Dashboard are not copied to WooCommerce.
Key features
PayMongo Checkout: one hosted page with the methods you choose: cards (Visa, Mastercard), GCash, GrabPay, Maya, ShopeePay, QR Ph, BillEase, Atome and direct online banking (BPI, UnionBank).
Paid only when PayMongo confirms: when the customer returns and when a signed webhook arrives, the payment is checked through the PayMongo API with your secret key. A missing webhook does not leave paid orders pending if the customer comes back.
Amount and currency check: the paid amount and currency are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order on hold with a note.
No double processing: repeated webhooks and returns never complete an order twice. A new payment attempt expires the previous PayMongo checkout link, and a payment made on an old link is detected and reported.
Test and live modes: separate secret keys and webhook secrets. Payments keep the mode they were made in: a test payment never completes an order while the store is live, and refunds use the key of the payment's mode.
Refunds: full and partial refunds from the WooCommerce order screen.
Order status of your choice: Processing or Completed after a successful payment, with one status change and one customer e-mail.
Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, the Pay for order page, HPOS. Logs without keys or customer data. Filipino translation included.
