VibeFox Paymob for WooCommerce

Overview

Paymob Pay Gateway adds Paymob payments to WooCommerce for stores in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Pakistan. After placing the order, the customer is sent to the secure Paymob payment page, pays by card, mobile wallet or another method of your Paymob integration and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site.

It suits stores that sell in the currency of their Paymob country (EGP, AED, SAR, OMR or PKR) and want a hosted payment page. The plugin takes one-time payments only. It has no refunds from WooCommerce, no saved cards, no subscriptions, no embedded card form on your site and no separate test mode switch: test payments use a Paymob test integration.

Key features

Five Paymob countries: the API and payment page server of your Paymob country is used, and amounts are sent in the minor unit of the currency, including OMR with three decimals.

Paid only when Paymob confirms: an order is marked paid only by a transaction signed with your HMAC secret, sent by the Paymob server callback or by the signed redirect of the customer. Requests without a valid signature change nothing.

Amount and currency check: the transaction must belong to a Paymob order created for this WooCommerce order, and its amount and currency must match the order. A mismatch puts the order on hold with a note.

No double processing: repeated callbacks, a callback and a redirect arriving together, or a replayed success never pay an order twice and never reopen a cancelled or refunded order.

Pending and authorized payments: cash or kiosk payments that are still pending and authorizations that are not captured yet put the order on hold until Paymob confirms the payment.

Payment retries: after a declined payment the customer can pay again, also from the Pay for order page. Every attempt gets its own Paymob order.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, the Pay for order page, HPOS. Optional debug log without keys, tokens or customer data; errors are always logged.

Requirements

WordPress 6.2 or later, WooCommerce 8.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. A Paymob merchant account in Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman or Pakistan with an API key, an integration ID, an iFrame ID and the HMAC secret. The store currency must be the currency of your Paymob country. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
