VibeFox Montonio for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox Montonio Payment adds Montonio bank payments (payment initiation) to WooCommerce. After placing the order, the customer is sent to the Montonio payment page, picks a bank of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland or Poland, pays from the bank account and comes back to your store. Bank login and payment happen on the Montonio and bank pages, not on your site.

It suits stores in the Baltics, Finland and Poland that sell in EUR or PLN and want direct bank payments with a Montonio account. The plugin takes bank payments only. It has no card payments, BLIK, Apple Pay or Google Pay, Pay Later or financing, Montonio shipping, subscriptions, saved payment methods or bank selection on your own site.

Key features

Montonio payment page: a payment is created for the order total in EUR or PLN. Banks of the customer's billing country are shown first, and the page opens in the store language when Montonio supports it.

Paid only when Montonio confirms: an order is marked paid only for a signed Montonio confirmation with status PAID. Confirmations come by a server notification and with the customer's return, so a lost notification does not leave paid orders pending.

Amount and currency check: the amount and currency reported by Montonio are compared with the order. A mismatch puts the order on hold with a note.

No setup in Montonio: the notification address is sent with every payment, so there is no webhook to create in the Montonio Partner System.

No double processing: repeated notifications never complete an order twice. Before a new payment attempt, the plugin checks whether the previous one is already paid, so the customer does not pay twice.

Sandbox and live modes: separate key pairs for each environment. Refunds go to the environment of the payment, and a sandbox payment never completes an order in live mode.

Refunds: full and partial refunds from the WooCommerce order screen. Montonio's confirmation or rejection of a refund is added to the order notes.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, the Pay for order page, HPOS. Log without keys, tokens or customer data. English and Estonian translations.

Requirements

WordPress 6.0 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. Store currency EUR or PLN. A Montonio account with the access key and secret key of your store (sandbox and live). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
