VibeFox Khipu for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox Khipu Gateway adds Khipu bank transfer payments to WooCommerce for stores in Chile, Argentina and Peru. At checkout the customer is redirected to Khipu, pays by bank transfer from their own bank and comes back to your store. The plugin uses the Khipu Payment API v3.

It suits stores that sell in Chilean pesos, Argentine pesos or Peruvian soles and want to accept bank transfers with a Khipu collection account. Refunds from WooCommerce are not supported, and the plugin has no subscriptions, saved payment methods or pre-authorisations.

Key features

Khipu payment page: a payment is created for the order total in the order currency: CLP without decimals, ARS and PEN with 2 decimals.

Paid only when Khipu confirms: the Khipu notification must carry a valid HMAC-SHA256 signature made with your secret key, and the plugin then asks Khipu for the payment status. The order is paid only when Khipu reports the transfer as done, for your Receiver ID, for this order and for the exact amount and currency.

Amount and currency check: a mismatch puts the order on hold with a note for manual review.

No double processing: every confirmation is applied once, so repeated or simultaneous notifications never duplicate notes, e-mails or stock reduction, and never re-open an order the shop cancelled or refunded.

Safe retries: a new payment attempt deletes the previous unpaid Khipu payment, so the old link can no longer be paid. If Khipu already received the previous payment, the order is completed instead of charging again.

Check on return: when the customer returns from Khipu, the plugin asks Khipu for the status, so a lost or delayed notification does not leave a paid order unpaid.

Status of your choice: Processing or Completed after payment, with one status change and one set of e-mails. With stock management, the Khipu payment expires together with the WooCommerce hold stock time.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, the Pay for order page, HPOS. Log without keys or payer data. Spanish translations included.

Requirements

WordPress 6.0 or later, WooCommerce 8.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. Store currency CLP, ARS or PEN. A Khipu collection account with a Receiver ID, API key and secret key, and a site reachable from the internet. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
