VibeFox Hubtel for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox Hubtel Pay Gateway adds Hubtel payments in Ghana to WooCommerce. After placing the order, the customer is sent to the secure Hubtel Online Checkout page, pays with MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, AirtelTigo Money, a Visa or Mastercard card or GhQR, and comes back to your store.

It suits Ghanaian stores that sell in Ghana cedis (GHS) and have a Hubtel business account. Hubtel must whitelist the IP address of your web server for its Transaction Status API, and Hubtel has no public test environment, so all payments are real. The plugin has no refunds from WooCommerce, no subscriptions, no saved cards and no choice of the payment channel inside WooCommerce.

Key features

Hosted Hubtel checkout: Mobile Money and card payments on the Hubtel page. The customer chooses the channel there.

Paid only when Hubtel confirms: Hubtel callbacks are not signed, so the plugin never trusts them. It asks the authenticated Hubtel Transaction Status API and marks the order paid only when Hubtel reports it as Paid for the exact order total in GHS.

Amount check: a different amount puts the order on hold with a note for the store manager.

Nothing to set up at Hubtel: the callback URL is sent with every payment.

Lost callbacks covered: the customer's return checks the payment, background checks re-check it, and the store manager can run Check Hubtel payment status from the order actions.

No double processing: every payment attempt has its own reference. Repeated callbacks never complete an order twice or reopen a cancelled or refunded order. A second payment of an already paid order is flagged for refund.

Cancel on Hubtel: the customer goes back to the Pay for order page with a message and can try again.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Checkout block, the Pay for order page, HPOS. Log without API keys or customer data.

Requirements

WordPress 6.2 or later, WooCommerce 8.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. A Hubtel business account with API ID, API Key and merchant account number (POS Sales ID), and your server IP whitelisted by Hubtel. Store currency Ghana cedi (GHS). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
