VibeFox GMO for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox GMO Payment Gateway adds credit card payments through GMO Payment Gateway (GMO-PG) to WooCommerce. After placing the order, the customer is sent to the GMO-PG hosted payment page (Link Type Plus), pays by card with 3-D Secure 2.0 handled by GMO-PG and comes back to your store. Card data never touches your site.

It suits Japanese stores that sell in yen and have a GMO-PG merchant contract with Link Type Plus. The plugin takes credit card payments in Japanese Yen only. It has no other GMO-PG payment methods (convenience store, Pay-easy, PayPay, carrier billing), no multi-currency, no saved cards or member registration, no subscriptions and no on-site card form.

Key features

GMO-PG Link Type Plus: a payment page is created for the order total in whole yen. The cards accepted are the ones in your GMO-PG contract, such as Visa, Mastercard, JCB, American Express and Diners Club.

Paid only when GMO-PG confirms: both the result notification and the customer's return are checked with a server-side request to GMO-PG. The order is marked paid only when the transaction exists and the amount matches the order.

Signed return: the result sent back with the customer is checked with SHA-256 and your shop password. Forged or foreign results are ignored.

No double processing: repeated or simultaneous notifications never pay an order twice or duplicate notes, e-mails and stock reduction. A new payment attempt cancels the previous unpaid payment link. A payment for an order that is already paid or cancelled is flagged with a note instead of being lost.

Capture now or authorize only: charge the card at once, or only authorize it and capture later with the order action Capture payment (GMO-PG).

Refunds: full and partial refunds from the WooCommerce order screen, in the environment the order was paid in.

Test and production: separate credentials for the GMO-PG test and production environments.

Modern WooCommerce: classic checkout, Cart and Checkout blocks, the Pay for order page, HPOS. Optional log with passwords and customer data masked. Japanese translation included.

Requirements

WordPress 6.0 or later, WooCommerce 8.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later. A GMO Payment Gateway merchant contract with Link Type Plus (Shop ID, Shop password, Config ID). Store currency Japanese Yen (JPY). A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
