VibeFox Authorize.Net for WooCommerce

Overview

VibeFox Authorize.Net Gateway adds an on-site credit card form to the WooCommerce checkout and charges cards through Authorize.Net. Authorize.Net's Accept.js library exchanges the card number, expiry date and card code for a one-time token in the customer's browser. Only that token reaches your server, so card data is never sent to or stored on your site.

It suits stores in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand that have an Authorize.Net merchant account and want customers to pay by card without leaving the checkout. The plugin has no saved cards or customer profiles, no WooCommerce Subscriptions or Pre-Orders, no eCheck/ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or 3-D Secure, no partial capture and no currency conversion.

Key features

Card form with Accept.js: card fields on the classic checkout, on the Checkout block and on the Pay for order page, with Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover icons.

Authorize and capture, or authorize only: charge the card at once, or reserve the funds and capture them later with the order action Capture payment (Authorize.Net).

Correct amount and currency: amount and currency always come from the order on the server. The order currency is sent to Authorize.Net, so an unsupported currency is rejected instead of charged in the wrong currency.

Fraud review support: transactions held by the Fraud Detection Suite put the order on hold.

Webhooks (optional, recommended): fraud review decisions and captures or voids made in the Authorize.Net panel update the order. Every notification is verified with your Signature Key and the status and amount are re-read from the API.

Refunds: from the WooCommerce order screen. A full refund voids a transaction that is not settled yet; settled transactions can be refunded fully or partially.

No double charges: repeated submits never charge a paid order again.

Sandbox and production: separate credentials, switched with one checkbox. Optional log with keys, tokens and personal data masked. HPOS compatible.

Requirements

WordPress 5.8 or later, WooCommerce 7.0 or later, PHP 8.0 or later, HTTPS on the checkout. An Authorize.Net account with API Login ID, Transaction Key and Public Client Key (plus a Signature Key for webhooks). Store currency USD, CAD, CHF, DKK, EUR, GBP, NOK, PLN, SEK, AUD or NZD. A VibeFox license key from vibefox.net (one key per domain).
